Bangkok Belly Des Plaines

I went into the restaurant, ordered a few foods, and went to the bathroom to wash my hands. After i saw this toilet, I really just wanted to run away. The lady she served,too who owned the restaurant was neither friendly nor unfriendly. Food tastes very cheap and low quality. Salty nor very sweet, tastes less. Pad thai tastes like ketchup i could only taste ketchup. Noodle was very much overcooked. This was my first time eating Thai food like this.

Came here for lunch. This is my first time dining since the current owners came in a few years ago and put the focus to be exclusively on Thai dishes. The strip mall the restaurant is in has limited parking, which can make things a bit of a challenge. If you are bringing multiple people, be sure to carpool! I started with egg rolls and was very pleased by how hot, crisp and fresh they were when they arrived at my table. Excellent dipping sauce and with six there would have been plenty to share. My entree was the green chili with beef, shrimp and chicken. I asked for medium spicy. The plate was generously sized and I ended up taking at least a third of it with me as leftovers. Excellent dish, and just the amount of heat I enjoy in my food! The couple that owns this restaurant are very attentive to their customers and genuinely enjoy cooking for everyone who stops in. They recognized one gent who arrived during my meal and called him by name! Now that I work in the area I believe I will become a regular, myself.

Average. I ordered wonton soup and pan and curry, and they were edible but nothing special. The ingredients were not fresh. I ordered sticky rice for my curry, and they told me they could not do it. They did not have mangos with sticky rice either, despite being mango season. The food was $25.60 without any drinks or dessert, which seems high for the quality of the food. The bathroom can use a deep cleaning. I do not recommend this place.

Always consistently delicious! Have been coming to this particular location for probably 9 years. Food is clean and fresh with more than enough for one portions. Restaurant is always clean and I/we are always greeted warmly.Food: 5/5

Dediced to try this place out for lunch. Overall it was a great experience. All the food on the menu looked good. Would definitely recommend the bangkok noodle with chicken. It gets a little spicy but not too spicy to handle. The food portions are good, the picture I took was after a few bites Also I would highly recommend trying the Thai ice coffee total game changer. Be ready it'll taste a little different than regualr coffee but nonetheless 5/5. Vegetarian options: They have many tofu options

The food here is incredible! Service is awesome, they always accommodate my requests and they always get my order right! I recommend the potstickers and the Basil Beef! The owners here couldn't be more accommodating. This is my #1place for Thai Food.

Had the broccoli with oyster sauce and shrimp plus cashew nut with chicken. The food was AMAZING! Service is excellent. Will definitely be frequenting this authentic Thai restaurant.

Just ordered a chicken pad Thai, disgustingly oily and burnt. Can’t taste the peanuts. Can’t taste anything. Pineapple fried rice - likewise terrible taste and oily and pot stickers, cold/dry and oily. Does not taste fresh at all, everything actually tastes the same, like old oil. Tom Yum soup is salty and likewise tasteless. It all Tastes like cheap, low quality Chinese food. Will never go back again. Note the pictures, disgusting. Will not be returning. Do NOT recommend.

We absolutely love this place! Nice people, great service, great taste every time! Only one little thing I'm concerned about is when I order take out, the food was so hot that the Styrofoam started to melt at the bottom which is the reason for the 4 stars Not 5. Not the healtiest, so I had to throw away part of my food that was touching the bottom which was a waste because the food is so good. I hope they could upgrade to a better quality to go box with spme sort of lining or BPA free plastic containers? Otherwise, we're probably just going to have to dine in there instead of ordering take out again.

This place was amazing!!!! We walked in and the owners came out and greeted us!!! Sat us and we're so excited to be there!!! Their energy was infectious!!! The food was also amazing, I ordered the Appetizer sampler, and the panaang curry. All were 5*. Absolutely going back and everyone in the party agreed that this place was much better then our normal Thai place!
