Always nice to start a hike where there is a nice bathroom and a water fountain. Took the trail south from the Nature Center. Beautiful views of the Boardman from above. Wildflowers just starting to pop, saw some Trout Lilies & Trillium. Lots of frogs, not sure if Leopard, Green or Bullfrogs. Well marked and nicely maintained trails. Not strenuous. Highly recommend for all.
Beautiful scenery and great fresh air spot. Some of the walkways could use a little touching up and could be seen as potentially inhospitable to one with disabilities. Definitely more of a hikers spot the further out you go from wherever you get on at. Still this is definitely one of the go to spots for seeing clear blue sky's and stark blue waters.
Please keep your good dog on its leash to avoid scaring people, harassment of wild critters, and spreading fecal diseases. Please don't pick flowers or go off trail. Such a small area can't handle so many visitors being selfish. Enjoy the gift of these quiet spaces only a few people during the week in early June, barely hear traffic, combo of cool woods and wide views of the river. Also saw clusters of frog eggs on side of boardwalk pic and heard plenty of birds.
Beautiful and many trails, bike and walking. They are adding native plants back into the area. Very calming hike.
Great short hike for the family. Easy to get .5 miles, or multiple miles of hiking in. We brought our dog. Rock hunting is great by the river.
Just outside of town. Gorgeous views and super well-maintained. Just awesome!! Playground: Kid friendly with a special naturescape for kids. Restrooms: Super nice restrooms. Filtered cold water bottle filling station under covered pavillion.

Nice plantings around the education center. Stuffed wildlife inside, mounted insects, educational camp or program for the children. A couple of damns taken out and habitat restoration in progress. Trails going north and south.
Super beautiful and quiet place. Some bits of the trail could definitely be redone for safety, but other than that it's absolutely one of my favorite places for my friends and I to hike around.
Lotsa mini trails that can be broken up and/or combined. Well marked with lots of signs. Well-kept trails and great views.
