Great campground! Lots to do but still quiet and peaceful to camp at. Kids had a blast! The store is well stocked, plenty of activities to do, even on a rainy day. The bounce pad with the steel roof above it was perfect for the kids and they couldn't get enough of it. Our next visit will be for a longer period of time so we can experience all they offer. Great fishing in the pond also!
I'm not crazy about campgrounds, mainly because children are having a great, unsupervised time. But the campground was very nice, clean restrooms, many activities for the wild children, everything one would need- ice, campfire wood, gifts shop, etc., grounds very well maintained- grass cut, no trash anywhere,,etc. If you like RV camping, this one would be very good. The staff was helpful, friendly, and I felt they honestly wanted us to have a great stay- which we did.Tina Seidel I'm not crazy about campgrounds, mainly because children are having a great, unsupervised time. We had a great time at this location. Rooms were very clean and the bathrooms were spotless. There was a lot of activities to do with kids. We played mini golf, rented bikes, played shuffle board and even squeezed a game of volleyball. The kids loved the jump padRooms: 5/5
Campground is a KOA on steroids. All the amenities, all the price, and NO space. They pack you in like sardines. Had to park my tow vehicle under my rear awning, and deal with morons walking between occupied sites. 20 feet generous between you and your neighbor. Give me a state park any day. Only stopped because we had a wedding to go to in Rochester and it was convenient. Very friendly and helpful staff, however. I'm sure kids love it and that's what it's all about. If you want peace and quiet, keep driving.
The best KOA in New York and only because we haven’t traveled beyond! They have great themed weekends and the perfect amount of events. It’s a family atmosphere through and through and the facilities are amazing as well.Rooms: 5/5
I have stayed at multiple KOA's across the country and this one rates with the best. The bathrooms and showers were not only very clean and updated but they had enough for all to use. The A OK cafe is a very nice touch after driving all day. The camp was packed but you would never really know as everyone was quiet.
First time camping with the family. Allen was super helpful when helping me back in my camper for the first time. Made it super easy. The front desk was very helpful with our rsvp and made us feel at home. Bathrooms are extremely nice and very clean. Only gripe was it was 95 and we didn't have much shade throughout the day. Great time though. Will be back.
Stayed May 5-7. Absolutely loved this campground. The grounds were nice and neat. The folks there were very friendly. And eager to assist. The guy leading us to our site was very friendly. And joked around. We picked the upgraded pull through site that had a great view of the pond. Which was my only complaint. I didn't catch any fish!! We went to the farmers market Saturday. And while not real big. They had some nice things to offer. I highly recommend the dilly beans! The best I've had. And at 5.00 a jar. A real bargain. The store had the basics. And the prices were reasonable. Everybody that were camping there were friendly and respectful. The quiet time was respected. We liked it so much that we booked for my Birthday in September.
Wonderful folks at this campsite. Staff and other campers were super nice. Very kid friendly - two playgrounds, including a pirate ship, jumping pillow, obstacle course, putt putt golf, and even a paddle boat/fishing pond. SUPER disappointed to be woken up by a tree trimming and mulching service, about 10' behind our tent and in our tent site at 7:30 in the morning. We couldn't even hear each while shouting. There were so many open tent sites, so it stinks they put us in a spot that needed those services.
We just spent the past week here and it was a great experience. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful from the time you check in by taking you to your site to always saying hi as they ride around. The rest rooms were very clean and neat. We had a great spot overlooking the pond. It is located in a very quiet area but still close enough to everything.
