About

Camping the Way You Remember!

Description

There are few pleasures as great as staring deep into a campfire, falling asleep under a sky full of shooting stars and waking to the smell of bacon sizzling in an iron skillet.

Like your first pocket knife with a fork and a spoon, Pinecreek is very close to the essence of camping, it’s the sweet bouquet of meadow grass and pine needles, campfire songs, ghost stories and the smell of smoke in your sweater.

Pinecreek is located in the rolling hills of upstate NY in the heart of Finger Lakes Wine Country. It’s a few miles South of Ithaca and the headwaters of crystal clear Cayuga Lake. Situated at the corner of Hines Road and Rockwell Road just off Route 327,Pinecreek'is neighbor to one of NY’s most beautiful State Parks – Robert H. Treman State Park and spectacular Enfield Glen.

Take a few minutes to view our page and get a feeling for why we say “When you find it you’ll love it”!

We stayed here because it was central to where we wanted to visit several different waterfalls in the area. We tent camped and the lot was very spacious. Bathrooms were very nice near the pool area. The staff in the office were so helpful talking to us about the different waterfalls and giving us tips on the hikes. Can't thank them enough for that! Ithaca falls wasnt even on our list but they suggested it and it turned out to be our favorite. There was live music and activities and the pool was nice and clean. Would visit again for sure!
We stayed here a few days for a Jayco rally and enjoyed our visit. Staff was super friendly, free popcorn in the office with small store. Nice big pavilion with pool. Grounds were nicely kept with flowers and gardens around. Sites were fairly spacious. Overall enjoyed our stay.Rooms: 5/5
We're told alllll about the pool rules, but the noise rules were lacking. States in the rules quiet time is after 10pm. Doesn't say when you can start making noise. So the owners dogs, which are big dogs, start barking/baying at 7am on Saturday. Right behind our trailer. On about the parking pads. They should be wider and more level. The store had mostly touristy stuff. Not a lot of food stuff. The price for a fudgesicle was $2.50. Robbery. Will not go back or recommend. Try Spruce Row campgrounds. Much better.
We were there for a Jayco Camper rally. Mike the manager was very helpful and made the stay great. We were amazed about how quiet it was after hours, not a peep, until sunrise. I would come back a visit form PA. Nearby activities: There is state park nearby.
The staff at Pinecreek Campground were extremely pleasant and helpful. We attended a Jayco rally August 3-6. There were plenty of activities planned for the rally, plus we received a swag bag of goodies. There are so many areas to explore nearby the campsite that we extended our stay by 2 additional days.
Camped here to hike the Finger Lakes Trail for two days. Trail goes right past the campground so super convenient!Service: 5/5
The shower house is not very clean. The camp store doesn't have much to offer unless you have kids.Location: 5/5
Was here for a JAYCO RALLY. Clean and well kept park. Swimming pool. A variety of site options. Friendly staff.Service: 5/5
We booked over the phone then happenstance caused us to arrive after 9pm, however we were met and shown to our plot. The following morning we asked if we could stay a second night and that was no problem although the site was almost at capacity. The owners could not have been more helpful, the site itself is absolutely stunning, beautiful lake and many many beautiful trees only add to this stunning site. All the facilities were spot on, clean and tidy and it was a real joy to stay.
Have been a seasonal after visiting three years ago for a weekend and decided to extend mine and my kids stay permanently. Lots of activities for the kids on Saturday's and holidays, they have even added some carnival rides. The staff are excellent, as well as the other seasonal campers. The new laundry facilities are top notch!
