I've had several procedures at this center and everyone of them work out very well in every way. The nurses, staff, and doctors were all excellent. The best experience you can have under the circumstance. I've experienced no pain while there, which is good.
I recently had a lumbar epidural injection done at this location. All the staff/nurses/techs/Drs in the back were awesome and very helpful. There was a discrepancy between what I was expecting and what my provider had ordered. They went well above and beyond contacting my provider and my insurance company to get it all sorted out. I really appreciate that. Everyone in the back was professional and friendly, answered all my questions and took good care of me. Only four stars since the front help/receptionists could use some work. Some training in personal relations would probably go a long way. Also they made a couple mistakes on my armband that led to some minor confusion. I'm sure it's a difficult position dealing with the public. Not everyone is cut out for that.....
Dr. Dreskin is an awesome Doctor & extremely nice, respectful, helpful......happy to have him taking good care of me
I had my first visit to this office today and was treated so well. Everyone was so nice to me and I felt very cared about. I appreciate each person carefully explaining and telling me what was happening as the visit progressed. The nurses, anesthesiologist, and Dr Ball were super friendly. The visit occurred in timely manner-less than 2 hours for the preparation, procedure, recovery, and discharge, but I did not feel rushed. 2 hours for all of that is remarkable especially compared to a hospital setting! I will be back for sure if the situation calls for it. Thank you so much!
Everything was great with prepping, procedure. However, he was rushed out of the building and was hurried into the car. Nurse neglected to give written discharge instructions but had him sign a paper that he received them. Is that ethical to have someone sign they received something when they didn’t? Of course, we did receive the receipt for the copay. I guess that’s more important than information for after care. How am I supposed to give after procedure care without instructions? I called them and there was no answer at post op, charge nurse extension was an “unmonitored mailbox”. Was able to leave a voicemail with preop testing but doubtful they will help as he already had his procedure. Very disappointed that this is what healthcare has become.
I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this group! The care, concern and kindness I received from these skilled professionals has been unmatched! They were always concerned with my comfort, taking special care and time when it was needed. I hope I can use only Chattanooga Pain Surgery Center in the future. Special thank you's go out to Brenda, Jo, Ann, Mike and Ray. These wonderful people went above and beyond! Thank you to Dr Michael Hermann for using this facility. A wonderfully kind, caring and skilled doctor.
The nurses and people in the back are absolutely amazing! They make sure you're taken care of and treat you with so much respect. Highly recommend!
Dr. Dreskin, who I absolutely adore did a multi-level epidural for me at this center. Everything from beginning to end was top notch. The staff from nurses to reception, to xray were fantastic. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I felt zero pain during my procedure, and am noticing a reduction of pain since. Dr. Dreskin and the entire team here and at Tn Valley have been truly amazing. Thank you!!!
I’ve seen both Dr Ball and Dr Smalley and I love them both ! I have MALS so I see them every 2 months or so. The staff is absolutely wonderful I am a very hard stick for IVs and they always get it first try. They always make sure I am comfortable. This place is amazing especially for people who do not want to have to take opioids for their pain.
This place is the WORST ever!! Dr. Ball is great. His staff at the check in desk is terrible! They have a bad attitude. Be prepared to be there for at LEAST five 5 hours! The last time we were there, we arrived a little before 10:00 a.m. We didn't get out of there until 3:12 p.m. And, they do not allow you to leave for lunch. There is a TOTAL lack of concern for anybody's comfort! They do not care one little bit about anybody's time! The waiting room is standing room only. They need some MAJOR training on time management, scheduling and compassion!!!!!
