Great breakfast items!!! Good portions, great taste! Service with a smile! Has been our Saturday morning breakfast spot for weeks now.Food: 5/5
The food was horrible. I ordered chicken liver and gizzards and it took forever to get. The liver was over cooked and there was no meat what so ever on the gizzards. The banana pudding had rotten bananas and taste spoiled. I don't know what happened to that place. It was really good but the past two times we have gone it was horrible. No food for the price . We won't be going back.
The food was ok, but I've had better. We had take-out so they prepare your plate for you. They are friendly and inviting. Probably won't go back for another plate but it was ok for the price. There's nothing we tried that wowed us.Food: 1/5
Don't let the outside of this no frills joint fool you. Inside, the all you can eat buffet of southern cuisine, is absolutely delicious! You pay when you enter, the line for the buffet forming on the right. The buffet includes hash & rice, mashed potatoes, assorted vegetables & casseroles seasoned to perfection, tender ribs, crispy fried chicken, pulled pork , etc. They have a salad bar that is top notch too. Try the ambrosia! Staff is friendly and efficient, every bit of the place was spotless. I didn't ask but I believe they may even have some type of takeout, pickup system as a heard a bell ring occasionally while there... This place was pure sunshine on a cloudy day. Glad to have found it!
Countryside BBQ has been on a gradual downhill slide under new ownership. I think today's visit is our last. We picked up 3 plates that were supposed to have bbq. Instead we arrived home with dry pulled pork and no sauce. The green beans taste like the can they came out of, and it's hard to say how old the squash casserole is but it certainly was not made fresh today. Everything that this place used to be is gone. The food is blah.
My experience was extremely appetizing. Food was great as well as service. I will give them an A+ on clean establishment to come sit down and enjoy a meal. I like it when they prepare your meal for you with gloves on.
Now I don’t know if it was because I came at 8 o’clock and it closes at nine, but the food was lukewarm and tasted like somebody’s leftovers. Another elderly couple that came in shortly behind me around 8:20 and they seemed like they were rushing to get everybody out I thought it was kind a rude.I tried a little bit of everything The best thing was the cabbage the green beans in the homemade pork rinds. The chicken was good but not any better than anybody else. I was kind of excited because I heard that the ribs were good but they tasted like they were boiled and then seasons. As I said everything even the meat except the chicken was lukewarm. I would not go back unless I was super hungry and had no other way to warm and ate food up.
amazing food with a wide variety of options for breakfast. Great service and clean
Friendly environment they were nice but the ribs was really dry the macaroni was okay the cabbage tasted wired and the lama beens did not taste good at all the hush puppies were dry I did not finish non of it maybe have to come back and try it again but the employee was really nice just not for me .
Great food, great service. Chicken livers are the best in town, hands down!Food: 5/5
