I'm shocked at all the bad reviews of Grain Valley's FINEST! They don't bother anyone! They're the Most respectible police in the KCMO AREA! I LOVE our local PD! KEEP UP THE FINE WORK!! #IllBackTheGrainValleyBlue

If I could give a negative *star then I most certainly would. These Grain Valley police need some serious professional training that's for sure but that's to be expected from a Barney Fife style police department my father's choice. A few have my respect however many are outright rude, disrespectful & carry that badge completely too high. I appreciate police officers of other departments *Gladstone...perhaps they could take a class or two from them.

To be quite honest, I am completely shocked by the bad reviews. We've lived in this community for almost 5 years now after moving here from California and I've had nothing but positive interactions with our men and women in blue. I'm sure there are people here who have had negative experiences. With that type of profession it can be challenging to maintain a happy friendly demeanor, and often people only come to google reviews to complain when they're mad. So far I've been pulled over by GVPD twice. The first time a couple years ago for expired tags hard to make time to get your tax waiver working 60-80hrs a week and was let go promptly as I was running late for a flight with a simple warning. The second time was a little over a month ago because I have passenger vehicle plates on my pickup. In that instance the office came to the window apologizing for stopping me "because after flipping on his lights my tags had come back as infact belonging to an F150" and "just wanted to make sure I knew I had the wrong plates so I could address it with the DOR". He was kind, friendly, and very prompt. My only other experience with GVPD has been exchanging of pleasantries at Caseys and helping a couple officers push a teenagers stranded vehicle out of the intersection and safely into the North Caseys parking lot. That was a couple weeks ago. Thank you to the GVPD for keeping our town safe.

The majority of the Grain Valley Police Department has shown a complete lack of professionalism and tact. They are sloppy and lack the ability to de escalate a situation. They also entered my property without permission or probable cause. Clear 4th amendment violation.

This department is full of rude individuals. They should take a class on how to act professionally. I will say the judge made a right call on my case and the courthouse clerk does her job well. But officers should never, ever, accuse a victim of something when they come to you for assistance.

I’m very happy and blessed with this wonderful team. I have had awesome experience on two occasions. The officer that helped me with my deceased dog of 15 years was such a sweet man. Thank you GV Police Officers.

They wouldn’t investigate a case of identity theft that took place in grain Valley, because my girlfriend is living in Kansas City

They've been rude and inconsiderate through the entire process. Not to mention the countless calls we made trying to receive help.
