My review is partially for the store, but mostly for Mr. Paul, who is a staff member here! My husband and I came here looking for a suit with zero knowledge of suits. Paul was heaven sent! He knew everything there was to know, he was so kind and patient, and because of him and his help, we left with the perfect one! So thankful for him being there! If I could give him more stars, I would!
Isn't JCP supposed to be coming out of their slump ? Their stock is still low and they have started using Kohl's pricing tricks. Take an item that should sell for $30.00 add $10.00 to it, and then give you a $10.00 discount. Oh well, if they make it. I guess it works for them.
I’m a single mom of four kids and my time is very limited I had an hour and I got a gift card so I thought I would come up to the JCPenney and shop I found what I wanted pretty quickly, and then I realized there was only one check out even though they have the capability to be running at least 10 registers that I could see and I could understand if they didn’t have enough workers as everybody right now is going through that, but the thing is there was a worker every 10 feet but only one cashier the line had at least 20 people in it and of course that poor cashier when she would get a coupon ect it would take her a while so after 30 minutes of waiting in that line, I finally just put my belongings back up and left. And the manager the people standing around doing nothing in all the different areas they wouldn’t even make eye contact with me they were just acting is it as if my time wasn’t important it’s a shame
Five minutes to find what I needed……thirty minutes standing in line to check out. This is highly disproportionate. The teller also spent more time cramming their store credit card down people’s throats than anything else! Seriously at least three or four propositions per customer. They don’t take “No” for an answer. I’ve seen used car, and door to door salesman who were less aggressive!
Make sure you have plenty of time to shop. Lots of deals if u have time to look around. Unless your husband is a bargain shopper, don't bring him along.
This store had no suites for my 8 yr old son. He's receiving his first communion and they had nothing. They used to carry 3 or 4 piece sets for boys and now they have none. Sephora isn't there anymore either. Jcepennys used to be a great store and they have progressively gotten worse over time. I can't find modest clothing for my daughters either.
Needed a whole dress outfit for my teen son. Marilyn in Men’s clothing was invaluable Great prices too. Thanks so much.
No checkout stations open except one and they were taking returns. Store was very hot. Easier to order online.
Found some good deals but the service was lacking. I stood in line almost as long as I shopped.
I had to return something online and when I went to the checkout line the person was very slow it took her about half an hour just to do the return and I still have not got the money to card yet.
