Cool place but did not get in cause nobody was there..
The grounds are pretty. But the lessons of a life lived before us is fascinating. Worth the visit.
Wish it was open on a Sunday, as that's the only day we can go, but understand!
Stopped for a visit on my way to Canton. Even though the home was only available to tour by appointment on Thursdays, Audra at the McKinley Memorial Library was extremely accommodating in setting up a tour for me. If you're in the area and into presidential history, this site is a must see!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
Beautiful place. Unfortunately it was closed when we visited on Memorial Day but it was still worth stopping by.
A nice stop on our presidential tour. The home is a replica and it has many artifacts. We made an appointment and the guide was very gracious and thoughtful as we took pictures and browsed the exhibit.
Well maintained museum in Niles, Ohio, open most weekday afternoons at no charge. Busts and plaques commemorating the donors provide insight into Ohio's Republican elite at the close of the Victorian era. New Museum Director gives free personal tours if scheduled in advance. Spacious meeting room available for rent. Ample parking. Note: web site still has a note that the building is closed due to COVID. This is false, but the new Director had not figured out how to change this on the WordPress site. Social media posts are current, and the phone is answered during the museum's posted hours.
It's after your. Very quick but informative about the times, education and family life of the McKinley's in Niles. Has furniture from the time period. Plus free parking.
So neat to have in area. Love building.
Great fun to be had on their family game nights.
