Orchard Park Post Acute Nursing and Rehabilitation

Orchard Park is one of the older facilities in Weslaco; however, it has been renovated and is very, very nice and well maintained. I liked the fact that it is smaller than some of the other facilities, so we received a lot of individual attention. My mother was a Rehab patient here. I was pleased with the hours of rehab she received everyday. I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone that cared for her. The therapists Lori, Rick, Eric, and Monique did an exceptional job at motivating my mom and getting her to give it her all. The nurses, and CNAs were very professional, compassionate, and respectful of her feelings and pain. Y’all were amazing! Your facility exceeds all expectations. I especially liked the personal attention we received and I would highly recommend it to my friends and family.

Orchard Park goes above and beyond for their residents. My father transferred from a nursing home that was marked for abuse and was depressed and unhappy. Now that we are at Orchard Park he is always smiling and tells me all the time about how much he loves this nursing home. The staff at Orchard Park are kind and friendly. The activity director is beyond amazing and she goes all out for the residents there. They always have fun activities and dress up the place so nice! I truly love Orchard Park and recommend it to anyone who is looking for quality care.

This summer, Covid19 had left me immobile, and speechless..but I was blessed to be transferred to Orchard Park from where a month ago, I graduated from their Rehab program, walking and talking; I couldn't have done it on my own, and I am so grateful for the kind and respectful therapist that helped me every step of the way: Lori, Eric, Rick, Monique, Cory and David, Thank you from the bottom of my heart and for motivating me and never letting me give up. Also thank you to the directors, all the nurses, cnas, kitchen staff..the whole team...caring and compassionate.You all are amazing and you are The BEST!!! and I highly recommend your services to my family and friends.

Outstanding rehabilitation and long term care services with a focus on excellence in all that they do. Orchard Park has wonderful staff that cares about the quality of patient care. They have a passion for getting great outcomes for their residents. When you walk in, you always feel at home and are greeted by smiling faces. Their management team holds themselves to high industry standards and is committed to customer service and attention to detail. You can trust them to provide excellent care for rehabilitation or skilled nursing needs!

Orchard Park is an excellent Post Acute and Nursing Rehabilitation facility. It offered optimal patient care to my mother, a recent patient at the center. My mother would tell me continously how well she was taken care of by the nurses and staff. I would recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for indivialized care and treatment for a loved one.

My name is Blanca and today is my last day at Orchard Park. I was so happy here and I've got nothing but good comments for all of the staff, day and night shifts 24/7. I'm leaving for my home today. I'm going to miss all the staff. I was treated like family and loved going to bingo and loteria with Nora and Daina. Nora is so kind and loveable with everyone. I'm going to miss you all. Eating very well, the weekday cook serves up the whole enchiladas here. Food is very well planned and always willing to please your desires on or off the menu planned. If I ever need to come back to rehabilitate then this would be the place. P.S. staff is extremely helpful with all my needs so far. Now ! Time to rest I’ll do the dishes later oh ! Yeah ! I don’t have to do dishes I’m their guest. Breakfast was great

I received treatment at Orhard Park nursing facility. My stay was for 4 weeks. I found that the facility has unique design for residence to move around and centralizing the nurses station to observe every hall with vigealance and excellent care. I was impressed highly with the pinnacle treatment and care ever so given to me by the staff, and I find it fair to say that every staff member from maintenance, kitchen, event coordinators, business office, cna’s, nurses, therapist, occupational therapist, administration , and doctors all gave their excellent service to make my stay there as comforting as I could be , in fact , it was . My experience that my every need was adressed and the response time was superb. I would highly recommend my friends, my friends loved ones, and my family to Orchard Park nursing facility. The warmth smile and greetings that were shared by the staff to me and every residence staying there would impress any person seeking the care and attention positively needed in a time of great care, staff made it feel like they were family, yet professionalism and care as priority. My personal thanks to the therapist team , you guys never gave up on me and kept me sharp on my toes , inspiring me to keep fit. To the kitchen help, thanks Drii for always being concerned about the meals and if I was satisfied, Awesome service!!! To my nurses Anabel , Javi, crystal, Ivan, Maria and the rest of the staff superb taking care of my wound.. to the cna’s who treated me with kindness and care and the elite patience they had with me..to Marlene and Liza with the business office, your assistance to my needs regarding my insurance and my DME always on top of things getting it done , attentive to all my concerns and responding to follow up appointment for follow up treatment, great job!!! To Daniel the Nursing Director, my hat if tobyou for the wonderful outstanding staff that you have under your wing, thank you for being there for me from the beginning your assertiveness and guidance at the facility was far to none than exceptional , again my sincerest thanks. And last but not least , to Yvonne Facility Director , the ability to run Orchard Park is impressive, thank you for taking the time from your busy schedule, which keeps the facility working like a fine tuned engine.my thanks for to concerning yourself for this humble patient that was me. Your concerns about my opinion of your facility impressed me, and therefore , I expect nothing less than great outcomes for you and the facility of Orchard Park . My stay was indeed 4 weeks , but seemed like I had just arrived yesterday, it saddened me to leave and I must say even jerked a tear, truly the hospitality the staff at Orchard Park has impacted my life in a special way, so much, I would love to return as a volunteer to give that same awesome treatment I treatment of kindness and happiness I got while a resident there... it’s not goodbye someone said to me , but till we see each other again. Very impressed at how organized it is here. Everyone is communicating on how to put the client first. The first priority is how to provide comfort and safety with lots of concern and love. Realizing how the system works it Starts at the top with Administrator, Director- Nursing and the Therapists, to the nursing, dietary, and activity departments. Overall, our entire family is very grateful and satisfied with the care Retama Manor of Weslaco provides for our loved one. Highly recommended skilled nursing facility.

Retama Manor Weslaco,TX is GREAT ! My husband was admitted here for 15 days. This place is very friendly and very compassionate for all our cares. My husband received physical, occupational and speech therapy while there and the staff was very professional. He also received woundcare and the nurses were great as well. This place also had a great cafeteria staff wanting to please patients foods needs and wants plus food is delicious. They also have a doctor or a P.A. there to see how patient is doing. Everyone who work to keep the place looking great and clean....great job....THANK YOU ! I must say that everyone there would go out of their way to help us and for us to understand what was being done for my husband. I must applaud all the staff that work there . PLUS a very compassionate personal that gave me peace of mind when we got there because I was very emotional to see what my husband was going through. So " HATS OFF RETAMA ".....Keep up with the great job !!
