I had a hernia surgery today and I've been in many hospitals for surgery but my experience at Parkview was one of my best. The docs and nursing staff are all very caring people. Everyone was great. My personal nurse was Eva, she was really compassionate and she is tops in my book. Thank you to everyone that played a part in my surgery, I'm grateful for all of you.
I've been going to Parkview Community Hospital now for I believe the last 2 years and it's been a pretty good experience. The last time I went was this past week and I had a nurse by the name of Augustus who was just a complete wonderful person and professional. He instructed me on everything beforehand which made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions efficiently and took his time!Thank you for treating me with the level of dignity and respect that I felt at my last visit I will highly recommend this place. I didn't give five stars because it could use some work on cleanliness but other than that the staff, doctors and nurses were very kind and accommodating to me and my children.
I love this hospital this is the 3rd emergency I’ve come in for one was for my mother last year and twice few times for my father. Every time I get the best customer service even during pandemic year. All nurses and doctors are extremely helpful, vigilant and caring. I am greatful for the whole ER team here. Thank you guys for always giving us a great experience.
This hospital is absolutely horrible. They won't listen to you, especially if you're an elder. Expect to advocate for yourself and then not be heard. We had to call the nurses multiple times and explain that she can't press the call button herself because she's crippled in hopes that they would be diligent in checking in on her in case she needed anything, but they still rarely checked in on her and caused extreme dry mouth/throat for the majority of her stay. They also seemed to not actually listen to my grandmother which made her feel so helpless and alone when she needed to feel heard most. They also insisted my Grandma's vitals were fine despite concerning issues. When we asked in particular about her lungs as she was experiencing wheezing, they insisted they were fine and that they said that her lungs were performing properly and that it wasn't an issue. They discharged my grandmother, only for us to have to call 911 three hours later for her to be admitted to another hospital three hours later and tested positive for pneumonia. Don't expect compassion and proper care from this incompetent faculty.
I recently was transported there when I was trying to get to Corona Medical Center. I was highly disappointed. I've had several bad experiences with Park View, but I have to say, this short stay was excellent. I received prompt medical attention and my needs were attended to quickly and with compassion. If they can continue with this type of care, my opinion of this hospital will surely change.
Is not the worst hospital. I got my surgery. The food was excellent except the nurse service it was disgusting not body want clean the floor i way make leak at floor I was swim with own urinate I ask the nurse I want go to restroom to make poopoo and she told me go by yourself I was suffering in pain early in the morning my doctor ask how I feel I told him I feel better at next day I want get out I started getting sick I toughened I was was having Covid 19 ?everyone is fighting, for better position BEWARE if you arrive to these facilitate you going to swim to with your own urinate or you going to die there ! get off at soon you got your surgery is better to get recovery at home with clean sheets and cover pillows
I honestly had the best care all the nurses and doctors were very professional and made sure they found out what was wrong with me if it wasn’t for them I could’ve died of ovary cancer The wait time was not that long at all to get into my own room everything was clean and they make sure they run all test possible I highly recommend it here people need to understand this is not a five-star hotel they’re here to save lives and make sure that you’re OK
If it weren’t for Andrew in radiology, this rating would be 1 star. My visit to the ER had me wondering how this place was even allowed to stay open so many rules being broken. Luckily, I crossed paths with Andrew from radiology. Andrew did what he could to make the hospital visit better. 5 stars for Andrew in radiology and 1 star for the ER.
This hospital is amazing. I honestly don't know why there's negative reviews. But to each is own and there's always someone ready to complain. Plus, I can only speak from my experience not anyone else. I was admitted by my PCP. I have an extensive and complicated medical history and yet Dr. Kim and the ER nurses made sure I was comfortable and they have great bedside manner. Dr. Sahay my admitting doctor, CNAs and. Nurses. In the telemitry floor have been so kind, curtious and respectful. They take the time to listen to any concern I may have and I am so greatful to all of them.
The review is for a Physician’s Assistant in the ER department she is a Caucasian female heavy set about 5’10” late 60’s that was extremely rude to me today, all because I approached her while she was sitting down at a computer and respectfully asked if I could get discharged early and she replied by saying, “who are you” what kind of disrespectful language is that? It just goes to show that she does not like her job and has no patient care even if I’m not her patient and should just retire her old self and be a bitter cat lady.
