Pretty good children's museum though a little small. Young kids 6 & under could probably be entertained for 2-3 hours. Over 6 will probably get bored in an hour or so. But the price was low and we had fun. 1 big room downstairs & 4 smaller rooms upstairs.
Very nice place for kids to have a hands on adventure. It is quite small and can feel overwhelming when there is a crowd. I personaly would have liked it a little cooler inside. But, the kiddos loved it. There is a downstairs colonial times play area and then on the second floor there are five rooms to explore and play in.
Has nice exhibit rooms for small children to play and learn. Coastal/Sea room, old school room, Lego building room, Publix grocery play room, Native American village, colonial fort. All of it fun and informative. Was busy when we went, but still enjoyable. Cant beat the deal that tickets get you in the other museums too.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot surePrice for adult entry$6–10
My kids had a blast. Highly recommend. If you buy tickets here you can also go to the history museum and art museum.
This place is amazing for kids ages 2 to 10 I'd say. A great way to spend an afternoon. The tickets are good for 7 days and are also valid for the other museums in the area.Visited onPublic holidayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$11–15
Super cute little place, I can't imagine my older kids having fun there but my 2 year old had a BLAST with the interactive exhibits. I thought she was never going to leave!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot surePrice for adult entry$6–10
MotherPhone: Mom recording life through the camera phone. So, this was a surprise! What’s great: We spent almost 4 hours here during a windy cloudy day we couldn’t go to the beach during our September school break. We thought we’d spend an hour and a half…little did we know the stuff in here was so entertaining to the kids and they could touch EVERYTHING! It was unlike other places closed off or restricted due to Covid in that it offered a clean reasonably priced indoor afternoon imagination exercise. It wasn’t a big museum, but it has 2 floors. The bottom floor was quite suited for 5 and under, and the upstairs was suited to 5 and up. I’ll admit, the grocery store and school room were our fav. My kids are 5 and 7. Both enjoyed BOTH floors. Need to know: -Everything was clean and people were awesome about putting their activities away after using them. It is your responsibility to put toys away. -The air circulation in this building is not great. It’s old, so the air conditioner upstairs especially doesn’t keep you cool. -There are NO chairs for adults to sit in. Exhausting, so we just sat on the floor with our backs against the wall. -No water fountain -Only one bathroom for girls and one for boys and both are downstairs. -Elevator is the only way to get upstairs or downstairs.
I was visiting my son at the Naval Air Station and had the afternoon to spend with my grandson and decided to check it out. The cost was very reasonable and to my surprise the tickets for the Children's Museum are good for several other downtown activities. My grandson is about 3.5 years old and had a blast. There were a lot of hands on activities, his favorite was the mini Publix. He stayed busy for nearly 2 hours. It was a nice activity in the middle of the day when it's almost too hot to be outside.
This was smaller than I thought it would be, but I think it would be great for three and under. My daughter is five and she blew through it in 15 minutes. Otherwise the facility was clean and I’m sure a great place for people with little ones.
Kids had a great time. They loved the Lego room and they loved “shopping “Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$6–10
