Piedmont HealthCare Family Medicine

I am one of Dr Frankhousers first patients and have loved her from the beginning!! She is the most personable and caring doctor I have ever had! I am always treated with respect and courteously. I look forward to seeing her each visit! As far as her staff is concerned I feel like they are all my family as well as Dr Tara. Jennette, Brittany and Jayme are absolutely amazing! I have 2 family members that drive from out of town to see them and now have 2 more family members wanting to go to her. I have never called without an amazing experience and quick appointment!! Love my ladies at PHC !!!!!

The nurse practitioner was wonderful at my sons appointment. We really loved her but the lady at the front hasn’t been too nice to us any time we have had any contact with her. I also had an appointment which I called to cancel due to my sister passing away unexpectedly and even though I called to let them know I was still told that I can no longer be seen there. I called to discuss the situation but no one returned my call and if that wasn’t enough my son needs his medicine called in for a refill but even after the pharmacy requested it 4 days ago electronically and both my son and I have left messages theres still no refill authorized or called in for him and mind you this isn’t for a controlled substance or a narcotic medication either.. it’s disheartening to say the least.

I always have a good experience at Dr Frankhouser’s office. Jeanette, Brittany and Jayme do an excellent job of managing the calendar and refilling prescriptions. They always seem to have a smile on their faces even while masks are still being worn. Keep up the good work ladies.

Very good work environment. The immediate response to needing an appointment to the compassion that is shared within the staff is wonderful when I came for my visit. You hardly get that now in days. To the professionalism in following the guidelines regarding COVID and also the policies they have within the practice regarding if you’re late or if you continuously miss your appointment. It’s not easy working in the medical field and to be there from early as 7am to late like 6pm. Thank you to these hard working woman!

I was close to 15mins late, I tried calling twice to give a heads up that I was on the way but no answer both times as a new patient i was not told about a 15 minute late policy.which states if you are 15 or more minutes late then your appointment will be cancelled Not to mention the reason I was late was bc of pregnancy issue and the fact that we drove around the parking lot for about 5-6 minutes looking for a sign or something to direct us to the correct place. Again new patient. I completely understand why they have this in order of effect, however they could have made that clear when I set up the appointment. Due to the fact I'm a high risk pregnancy and I didn't have plans on having pregnancy issue before my appointment. It would have taken weeks/ months to get a new appointment. If I would have known about there policy I would have call even earlier until I got someone and explain in more detail of what was going on and have went from there. I was displeased with the front desk and the way I was treated due to the fact there was no consideration. This was the second time I have scheduled a appointment with them and neither time was I notified about forfeiting my appointment if I was late. Due to my experience, I've decided to find a different doctor.

Dr. Frankhouser is alright... however she totally needs to rethink her front office staff. Jayme and Janette are two of the most condescending, unprofessional people that I have had to deal with in what is suppose to be a professional medical atmosphere. There seems to be no accountability for these two women. With their loud voices, I do not believe that Dr. Frankhouser hasn't said something or done anything to correct them. At one of my appointments I brought their behavior up in conversation. As it has continued, it tells me that she herself doesn't care simply by condoning it. Most recently I was turned away for missing my appt. which I had for Thursday, when I was abruptly told that no.. it was yesterday. Waited 15 minutes to hear that. According to J/J, who basically tagged team me, they were overbooked and would not allow me to be seen. No one else was in the waiting area and I am not certain why they would be "overbooked" during this pandemic. This appt. was for a simple recheck of extremely high BP that I had to call five people under the Piedmont umbrella to have Janette call to schedule an appt. Now keep in mind, that I was given one RX for the medication. I could not have it refilled without authorization. I have never received a F/U call to check whether the medicine was working or one relating to the missed appt. forget that at this last, and I do mean last visit, I was not asked when would I be available for that recheck. Janette simply closed the sliding window and walked away. Thanks Dr. Frankhouser and J/J... Not the place for anyone looking for quality care.

Called to make an appointment because I was having bad back pain. The lady who answered the phone was very rude. She cut me off while I was telling her what was wrong. When she found out I was a new patient, she was even ruder and in a very snotty voice told me that I couldn’t be seen for several weeks for a new patient visit. I’ve been using other Piedmont Healthcare offices for at least 15 years and have never been treated this way. I guess I’m confused on new patient since I’ve been to other Family Medicine doctors with Piedmont Healthcare. I will never call there for an appointment again, nor will I ever recommend them. I will be sure to tell people NOT to go there. The doctor may be great, but the receptionist is rude.

Amazing providers and friendly staff ! Great with all 3 of my babies. The office really puts forth great effort to meet our needs and working us in when needed. Would definitely recommend if your looking for a family doctor.

They NEVER answer the phone !!! If you can ever get them on the phone , they do good work but they also take days to get back to you. I was calling in the office one day and they just let the phone ring like they didn’t even hear it . The front desk admin needs to be replace !!!

After 25 years of frustration, chronic pain, poor health, and uncontrolled chronic conditions, I have FINALLY found relief. Dr. Frankhauser and her team have afforded me the best health of my adult life, and it’s just getting better. Within two visits, I started seeing relief and results that I haven’t been able to even imagine after all of those years of frustration. A friend recommended that I seek out an osteopathic physician, so I started my research. Dr Frankhauser’s education and experience got me in the door, but her kindness and attention have kept me coming. She is a gift to Statesville and I am so grateful to have found her practice.
