Super fun learning about dinosaurs and native Americans. There were great interactive parts so good for kids. There is the cutest gift shop and there is a wide range of stuffed animals to a 49$ necklace it was super pretty thought and not super outrageous prices for a gift shop. There is a play area just for kids it was super cool.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
This is exactly what you’d expect in a museum which is run by a satellite university location in Price. However, that’s not to say we don’t enjoy it! We bring the kids here nearly every year and they like coming here. The admission and gift shop prices are much less expensive than say, Thanksgiving Point. The subjects of the displays include dinosaurs, mammoths and ancient native peoples. It has lots of interesting artifacts. There are also some interactive displays and a kids area. It is never crowded and makes for a great little day trip with kids if you’re coming from Utah County.
A wonderful experience at this museum! We stopped in Price overnight on our way back from Moab and visited this museum the following day. Reasonably priced admission, cheerful staff, and spent about 2 hours walking through exhibits. Many of the exhibits are unique, including the large dinosaur on the top level, which also highlights the history of prehistoric appeal within the last century, detailed by various countries greatly showcased. We’ve been to many Utah dinosaur museums located in all areas of the map, and this one offers a different perspective on prehistoric life. Definitely worth the stop!
I was pleasantly surprised by this museum that looks small from the outside. However, it contains a lot of facts about dinosaurs in Utah that make it more educational than typical dinosaur exhibits that are broader in nature. Worth the visit!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$6–10
Great historical information and information center. Tickets are cheap, $6 per person, or $17 for a group. Lots of information for a small place. Took an hour to get through the whole thing, so a great pit stop for travelers to learn more about Utah's terrain and history.
I loved my experience here with my family, there was a lot to take in. So much information and a lot of beautiful artifacts laid out in a respectful manner. I really learned a lot about the surrounding area and about the indigenous people. A really lovely museum and a cute little souvenir store. They have something for everyone and it's not overpriced. They have interactive areas, so if you have little ones, they can get into it also. If you are on your own, you can scan and listen as you go, so you can hear everything they have available at each area. It's a lot of fun and nice to learn so much about the surrounding area. There is a fee to get in, but it is well worth it.
Great little museum in downtown Price UT. It's owned by USU and is pretty accessible. There are a few wings with 2 floors of exhibits and a nice small gift shop. The caveman/mammoth exhibit was really impressive!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$6–10
Incredible! Best museum we've ever been to. The exhibits are superb. So much education, care, and attention to detail. Our young children loved it as well! Dinosaurs and how people lived thousands of years ago. Full exhibits. Very affordable gift shop as well! Heavily encourage visiting this magnificent place!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$6–10
The weather was a little cold and rainy today. This museum was great. My little girl loved the dinosaurs and the history.Visited onWeekendWait time30–60 minReservation recommendedNot sure
It's small. But it has a lot of good information. There is a kid area that kept our grandson busy for a while. And then they have Dippy the dinosaur . It was $15 for two adults and our six year old grandson.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
