The Student Philanthropy Council's mission is to foster a lasting awareness of and appreciation for philanthropy at Widener University.
The Student Philanthropy Council (SPC) gives students a close-up look at the fundraising operations at Widener University, along with the opportunity to be involved in marketing campaigns aimed at raising awareness about the role philanthropy plays at our University. Our mission is to provide student leadership opportunities, raise awareness and promote the philanthropic spirit throughout the University community to enhance the future of Widener. This is our opportunity to bond together and leave our mark on campus, ensuring that future students will have the same unbelievable experience.
As a prestigious organization under the management of the Office of Development, serving on the council provides a wonderful opportunity to work with other dedicated students to help make a difference here at Widener.
