Overpriced when compared to Fred Meyer also, Kroger that's right down the road. The over crowded parking lot is often a complete nightmare. They also have a limited selection due to it being a smaller QFC.
Super sweet store! Not a huge, rambling grocery store, but filled precisely with curated essentials and a few fun and luxury foodie finds. Floral is outstanding. Produce is good quality, with nice seasonal sales. If they run out of a featured item they usually post a notice and may include whether or when more of it is expected. They have both self checkout and real in person checkout. Paper bags for groceries, not plastic. Good parking lot. Other stores in the shopping center make this very convenient.
Person with a mustache wearing "person in charge" badge, yelling at his help in front of customers. Very rude.. If you're too good for your job.. Find another..
Wow. What a rude guy that I had to deal with. I'm disabled and walk with a cane. I had a store ad in my other hand and I put it on top of some shipping boxes for a few seconds while I looked at the hot dog ingredients. It is hard to hold them and an ad when you also have a cane. The guy putting stuff away got mad at me for putting the as there. He was like.. really? Your going to put that there? And so forth . He didn't apologize when I told them he was being rude either. I told the manager and he said.. "are you sure it was our employee?". I called qfc customer service. And they said . "They will take what I said on consideration". Well. I'm considering never shopping at any Kroger store again. I can't believe they treat disabled people this way.
Always clean, pretty good selection. Ot was only a bit after 10a so deli sandwiches weren't well stocked, gc selection was lacking but everything else was great.
Shopping here feels like an active crime scene, with the annoying security gates that never open for you when they’re supposed to and a loud speaker in the parking lot that yells at you to not get mugged. I avoid this location now.
Long post: My family has been shopping here for more then 40+ years. Customer service has never been an issue, until yesterday. I went to the butcher counter and asked to have three New York steaks cut to a desired thickness. The assistant behind the counter was and is always kind and very helpful. He walked over to the butcher manager tall, bald, caucasian man who was stocking a shelf outside of the butcher counter, and let him know of my request. In response, I saw him tip his head back, as if I was inconveniencing him and I have now annoyed him. He proceeded to go ahead and cut the steaks and when they were ready, I thanked him and quickly placed them in my cart, then headed for self checkout. My total was higher than anticipated, but that’s not unusual. Lol. This location is pricey however close. When I got home, I took a picture to show my husband who was working that Saturday, what I bought for our Sunday dinner. He must have zoomed in on the picture. He called me to say that I was charged for Rib-eyes. He over charged me by $19.99! I’ll be honest, I understand mistakes happen, however when you are the manager, you should know better! Honestly, it seems highly unlikely that this was a mistake since there were only two steaks on sale at the time. This experience makes me feel like this man tried to pull one on me. Not ok! When my husband got home he brought the steaks back to get it sorted out. My husband has never cared for this butcher and avoids him as much as necessary. I’m not sure why this guy continues to work in customer service, if he can ‘t handle doing a job he signed up for?
I am so pleased with the work of art the baker Susan prepared for my son's birthday. I ordered a birthday cake on Mother's Day a week prior and even with the holiday rush, the baker went above and beyond. At my 4 year olds birthday party the parents fell in love with the cake, his party was Sunday, it is now Thursday and I am still getting calls to see if there was any cake left. The cupcakes were also amazing. Driving 13 miles just for this cake was worth it! Not to mention Finding an Iron man only cake is near impossible without having all the Marvel characters. I actually had called all stores within 10 miles from my house and they could not fulfill an iron man cake which was stressful, however I am so thankful for the experience with ordering from this store it was easy, they ordered what I needed and it came out PERFECT. I highly recommend ordering your specialty cakes from here, skip over the Wal-Mart's, Costco's, Fred Myers and Safeway's and pick up a master piece at this QFC or if possible your local one and ask them to put their Susan QFC- Normandy Park Baker blessing on the cake.
This is a nice little neighborhood store, BUT…. The parking lot is a nightmare and they don’t always have what I need. It’s a small store so they carry less, but it’s frustrating sometimes that things I consider to be basic pantry items aren’t carried. And that parking lot is insane! Who ever designed this parking lot should be fired. It’s terrible design that causes problems with traffic on the surrounding streets. It’s obvious it was poorly planned. QFC has a captive market so people will continue to go, but it is never a pleasant experience to shop here.
Loved the service very friendly, fresh and clean. I just wish there was more of a Latin american selection.
