This is one of my favorite library in the county. Spent countless hours studying in this location while in college, and my kids while they’re still at pre school, many years ago went to many story time sessions led by wonderful volunteers and staff. Its been a while since I’ve Visited this location - like 5 years, and was impressed by the extensive renovation they did. They have separate children and teens reading rooms, glass walled meeting rooms, study rooms, tastefully designed, efficient space maximizing cubicles. Good variety of magazine subscriptions, audio visual materials, more study area/tables available, plenty of public desktop computers for use, 24 hour book drop, and so much more service and amenities. Plenty of parking. The staff were helpful, friendly, - different people - same accommodating attitude.
The Randallstown Branch was my home library a few decades ago. So today was sort of a reunion of sorts. There has been an extensive overhaul with nice new chairs, carpet, protected areas for small children and teens. Found a copy of Jane Kenyon's Best Poems for me while the kids grabbed up some reads for their after school hours. A lot of resources available besides books - fax/ copy machine, newspapers, mags, meeting rooms and delightful staff. Excellent visit
I was able to get in some really reading in the quiet room... very easy, relaxed & comfortable atmosphere
The best library! Always helpful, kind and knowledgeable. My husband and I are seniors and have found the library to be very helpful in keeping us up to date with our devices. Thank you for always being there for us. You folks are the best!
Library very clean and quiet. Almost all the staff was pleasant and extremely helpful especially the young man with Locs in his hair unfortunately I can’t remember his name/ However I can remember the rude and disrespectful worker there name Amelia E. Baltimore County should not have such a person working there.
The staff is incredibly and considerate. They always know exactly what you need and how to help you. Security is on point especially the guy with the locks, he's so nice. I'm so grateful to have this library, thank God my tax dollars are being used for such an awesome institution.
Recently made a visit to this library after not having been to one in years. I was a little nervous and wasn't sure how to access one of their printers, but the woman at the front desk was very friendly and kind and explained how I could go about printing something. I would certainly visit again
I really like this library the only reason I don't give it five stars is because of one of the front desk workers. Fat, white, middle aged, with glasses. She has such a nasty attitude as though u r bothering her. I asked her for a receipt when returning books, cus they have lost sev of my rets, and she sucked her teeth and frowned, as though I asked for her first born. Attitude is subjective, but my friends have reported the same. When I find out her name will make branch manager aware
The librarians are very helpful and professional here.During pandemic before they opened for people to go inside, they would print documents for you for free and bring them to the curb side. That was going above and beyond for us.Well done to all the stuff who work at this library.Yesterday I went there to use a computer and make some print outs and copies,it was my first time using the copier and printer there.Everyone helped me very patiently, and they were really customer service oriented.I recommend people to go there for that great customer service they offer.
Lot of resources available and staff if friendly
