The Woodlawn Branch opened in 1977, was renovated in 1990, and expanded in 2005. Its current size is 25,900 square feet. Storyville was added to the branch on March 1, 2010.
After the community's overwhelming response to Storyville on the east side in the Rosedale Branch, Baltimore County funded the construction of Storyville@Woodlawn to serve the west side which opened to the public on March 1, 2010.
