Riverhouse Motor Lodge

If you enjoy older places, this is by far the best!! Stayed here in July and don't envision ever staying anywhere else for our trips to Gatlinburg. The waterfalls outside your room are fantastic, the bed was so comfortable, and the Inn feel was exactly what my Introvert heart desired! Our housekeeper was literally the sweetest and took such great care of us. Stayed for an entire week and loved every second of it. Will be my first call when it's time to return.

We love the balcony side on the rushing river! Located at the end of town exiting to the National Park we never had a traffic issue and had easy walking distance to a lovely riverside trail into the park as well as to all attractions. The rooms are original Mid Century Modern which we love. The pool was nice and the enclosed parking relieved parking anxiety. The homemade donuts and coffee were delicious as well. Nice price and listening to the creek melted away years of stress.

Absolutely love this place. My partner and I stayed here in December and I think back to it all the time. The rooms are so charming, booking is so easy with the amazing staff, and the location is perfect for walking around the town! The donuts are to die for! The only downside, the walls seem to be very thin since we heard our neighbors laughing and snoring majority of the time. If you have earplugs, you’ll be just fine! I love this place so much and we’ll definitely be back.

It's like a step back on time, and we absolutely loved it. The staff was always nice and helpful. The doughnuts was delivered amazingly fast and were delicious. We had a small issue with the toilet but the staff came and took care of it promptly. Would highly recommend staying here. The room was crazy clean not a spot of dust anywhere and the grout was spottles in the shower. This place is the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed at. Rooms: The rooms was like stepping into the 80's and I absolutely loved it. The room was spotless very clean Walkability: Just a couple minutes walk to the parkway

This is our family’s go to hotel in the mountains. Great quality rooms, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING DONUTS and the check in and room service staff are awesome. It also provides a great river view, and thats why I give it 5 stars.

Our go to place to stay in Gatlinburg. The pictures and web site don't do this place justice. Don't pay attention to them. This is an older hotel that has kept the charm of what Gatlinburg was 30 or 40 years ago. No key card at this place. They still use real keys. Our room had the oversized chairs and beautiful antique furniture. It was very clean with a whirlpool tub and four post king size bed. This last trip we stayed in the corner room over the river. Our room included a gas fireplace with a real stack stone hearth. In the morning they brought us coffee, orange juice, and fresh doughnuts that we enjoyed on our private balcony looking at the river and edge of the park. The staff is very friendly and know the history of the area. I always learn something I didn't know about the town.

Step back in time with floral bed covers and paneling walls. A nostalgic little motel at the end of the strip backed up against the GSM. Clean and nice staff. We return here every year for the past 10 years. We call RiverHouse "home away from home".Rooms: 5/5
