The people who work at Rustic Reminders are really nice people. They skillfully answered all of our questions. We even had a former employee kindly forward our question to the business! The mount did take a full year to get back, so be patient. Velvet Elvis is my first taxidermy mounted pelt, and he seems handsome to me.
I gave them one of my pets so that I could get his pelt. They told me that it would take four months before I would get him back. Over a year later, he's finally returned to me. His beautiful fur was covered in something very oily and the skin was yellow and full of holes. I've had pets pelted before and this is by far the lowest quality I've ever seen. It just made the loss of him all the more painful because I now have nothing to remember him by. Would not recommend or use again.
These guys are great at what they do!! Just got my wife’s deer back and couldn’t be happier. I’ll take every animal worth putting on the wall to them. The detail and pride these guys put into their work is what sets them aside from the rest. Looking forward to future mounts. Shout out to Josh, appreciate you man!
Great service and awesome work. If you think the turn around time is slow its because you are waiting for quality work to be done and that takes time! Only place I would consider for taxidermy!
