Very nice place with great ambiance. Service was the redeeming component, ordered a NY Steak and it was terrible. As in, not acceptable. I did something I never do and told the server, mgr comped it and made it right. Kudos to them but get some QA on the meat, if I was a chef I’d be embarrassed to plate this. Awesome Gibson martini!!!
Top notch restaurant. Service was excellent, the hostess was friendly and waiters very responsive, the dishes were exactly as expected and impeccable compared to other venues in the area. A great choice.

Outstanding! And not in the rain! You made our first dine-out experience since March, most excellent in every way. From our initial encounter with the kind and courteous Hostess, to our awesome Server, Brooke...and the exceptional food, what a night. The Spicy I think it was Thai-inspired Calamari was kickin'. The Surf and Turf, fresh, delicious and cooked to perfection. Pistachio cake for dessert was the topper. A great experience in every way.
My boyfriend and I had reservations yesterday for 7:30 party of 2, we were able to seat at the bar and have some drinks before dinner, finally. It was now 7:40 mind you we got there 7:15, table was still not ready and their dinning area by the bar, which was where we were going to be seated seem a bit too crowded, we decided to eat at the bar instead and stools were spread out which was even better. All I have to say is omg, the food was amazing and Kevin the bartender knows the menu like the back of his hand. Drinks were good food was amazing especially the calamari in chili sauce and the ricotta pistachio cakewill be back. Thank you for the awesome service Kevinhope I got his name right.
My family took me here for my birthday & what a terrible experience. We had been here before & the service a the food were excellent. We arrived at our 7 o'clock reservation time, however no valet on Sundays. We were seated promptly & then had to wait for 20 minutes before a server came to take our drink order, 20 minutes later our drinks came out & he took our appetizer order which arrived 20 minutes later & he took our dinner order. We waited until 9 o'clock & left since out dinner order had not arrived. I didn't see a manager anywhere & no one even expressed an apology for the poor service that we received. Save your money there are a lot of places in Point Pleasant that would love to have your business. We will not be back.
This was our second time dining here, and the food was as good as the first time we came. Wife had the surf and turf, I had the rack of lamb and sea scallops. Lamb was cooked perfectly, and the scallops were very tender. The cream of mushroom soup was amazing. The only thing that could have used a bit more flavor was the creamed spinach; it was ok but I have had much better. Other than that the rest of our meal was great. Our waitress was also exceptional. We didn't wait long to be served, or have to wait a long time when asking for another round of cocktails. This is a nice place to relax and enjoy your meal, they dont rush you out the door. I have seen some negative reviews, but can't say I have had any of those issues when dining here. Definitely will be back in the fall .
Would not go back again. First time going. The Service was terrible. The waiters had to be asked multiple times for the same things and they kept forgetting to bring what was asked. Food was mediocre and disappointing. There's a reason why this place has a 3.9 Star rating. I was hoping it would be better, but it sadly wasn't. I had to send some of my food back because I just couldn't eat it. The kitchen didn't make the food how I ordered it, it wasn't that good, and definitely not worth the prices. The appetizers are too expensive . The desserts are too expensive. I regret my decision to give this restaurant the benefit of the doubt by trying it.
Our hostess was pleasant. She was friendly and professional. When we walked in she sat us right away. My boyfriend and I sat at the table for 8 minutes before being approached by our waiter. His name was Chris. We waited so long we knew everything we wanted from drinks, to apps to dinner. After giving our drink order another waiter came over and asked us if we wanted any water. So we told him that our server just took our order. He then repeated himself on the water. My assumption is that Chris forgot the waters we ordered and asked another waiter to come over to us to ask again. Chris then came back to us letting us know that The wine my boyfriend had requested was completely out. The appetizers we ordered were delicious but our dinner was terrible. We got a porterhouse for 2. It had no seasoning on it, it almost tasted boiled and then grilled. It was a terrible cut for $105 . I pay less for a great cut at Peter Lugars. The creamed spinach, and Brussels sprouts had no seasoning on it as well, so I had asked for salt to put some sort of flavor into it. We were so unhappy that we asked our waiter for everything to go. It was the biggest waste of 220 dollars we have ever spent. Then to top it all off we waited about 15 minutes for Chris to return back with our to go stuff and check for him to tell us that they are completely put of bags. I had to walk out of the restaurant with 4 containers. I never give reviews but I felt like for this experience the restaurant really needs to know that they have some work to do on service and in the kitchen. You would have had a very good customer but you lost one.
Two words - Don't bother! I can only describe the evening as witnessing some kind of mutiny - against their own customers! Had high hopes for this place, being from England, it was a rare treat but it was awful - and I'm not fussy at all. It is so over priced, the service was shoddy, the wait time was ridiculous and the food was mediocre. The only good thing was my steak, which I got 90 minutes after entering the restaurant, but that's only because I like it well done and the meat is probably sourced from a good farm. I'm convinced that most of these good reviews are written by the hostess, as she seemed to be glued to her phone all night, friendly lady though. There were around 7 tables full in total, and 70% of them were having issues, I especially liked the classic 'peach salad' which was brought out, peachless! So in summary - don't waste your money on over priced food, when McDonald's has better service and is actually tastier! Oh, and p.s. your popovers that I didn't get but my friends did, as you ran out, are in need of a recipe overhaul... Hard as baseballs!
