Tardi's Italian Restaurant

Had my first dinner at Tardi’s and all I have to say is WOW! From the moment we walked in the doors to the moment we left, we were absolutely pleased with the entire experience and can’t wait for our next date night! We ordered zucchini flowers, chicken parm, and a garlic pasta and I swear heaven was made from the food here. The chef even came out and personally thanked us for coming! I’m not one to write reviews but, seriously, this place is worth it.

Have been here 3 times now and each experience has been absolutely fantastic! The staff is top notch, atmosphere terrific and the food is outstanding!! The dishes are enormous and I’m always bringing more then half home because I’m stuffed. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic meal! You can’t go wrong!!

Food was incredible. Service was excellent. Prices were also reasonable for a restaurant of this quality. Since it’s pretty small it was a little noisy but not a big deal. Would 100% go back againFood: 5/5

I had Tardis cater a pre wedding celebration. The food was delicious, everyone at the party raved about it. So glad I gave this place a chance. Shrimp parmigiana out of this world, along with chicken parmigiana, penne vodka, eggplant rolatini and broccoli rabe. Fabulous!Food: 5/5

The food was great and the service was perfect. The staff was attentive, passionate, and executed at a high level. They cook seafood perfectly, everything was lightly done the way fish should be cooked, well flavored and properly seasoned. It really surpassed my expectations, we will definitely be back.Food: 5/5

First time there lastnight. Everything was delicious. Worth the drive to Tom's River. Staff amazing, friendly and attentive. Geo our server was the sweetest guy. Portions are out of control, stuffed zucchini flowers were amazing. The Clams oreganata were really good and so were the meatballs. The veal chop parm special was colossal and we have plenty of leftovers. Highly recommend..be sure to make reservations! Definitely going back.

I had such high hopes after reading the reviews. Sadly, was so very disappointed. I ordered shrimp scampi which included 4 shrimp that were flavorless tasted steamed and I had to search for them as they were buried in about a pound of linguini. I have never had scampi without even a hint of garlic! My husband ordered chicken francaise which offered a much better plate presentation, however; the chicken had a distinct gamey flavor that indicated it was likely prepped hours before actually cooking and not when ordered. My father ordered a fish dish, the mussels were fine although not tender or easily removed from shell but the clams had a gummy texture and the sole was drenched in an oily sauce. My father loves seafood and has a wealth of experience as he has enjoyed eating in fine establishments across the country and over many continents. This dish sounded delicious but did not deliver. Finally, as it started to pick up with customers, we were asked repeatedly if we wanted anything "wrapped up" this was while we still had forks in hand and we certainly were not lingering in our stay. Overall very disappointed. We do not mind paying for good food, and it was pricey for sure, but the quality did not match the price. The best thing on the table was the bread that we were served not the brushetta but rather the bread in the basket. Save your money or at least definitely do not try out during a special occasion as we did. If you know good food and visit somewhere special where you are served gourmet food even if it's a simple setting, you can be transported somewhere else and leave with a smile. Instead, we all felt there was a level of pretentiousness for an inferior meal in a backdrop of a strip mall.

Absolutely amazing! We had my sons communion here they went above and beyond! Not only was the food delicious the amount of food you get is unbelievable! The staff was extremely attentive to all our needs they truly were amazing. We are looking forward to our future parties here!! So happy we found this restaurant!

Fantastic service!!! My family and I felt so included, as if we were apart of the family that services this establishment! Upon entering, the location is moderately traditional, just beautiful. The aroma of the food was very promising of a delicious meal. Mike was the sweetest, most personable person here. We did not know we needed reservations but he still took us and we were seated to be served. He made my family and I feel so appreciated. The appetizers that were first delivered were amazing unfortunately I do not know the name of the bread topped with tomato, excuse my ignorance but it was PHENOMENAL. From there we ordered the calamari and mozzarella sticks.. when I tell you this has to be the freshest mozzarella I have ever had in my omg i really mean it! We were already stuffed by time we received our entrees but it was FRESH, everything down to the GARNISH IS FRESH AND HAND MADE!!! Lobster ravioli, Chicken Parm, and Halibut special taste like god guided the chef personally in the creation of these dishes. I appreciate this location so much for the ambiance, tradition, and great tasting food it brings. I am from Philadelphia but i will kindly make my way back for more!
