Kids started a fire in this park YEARS ago and this park was never fixed. The equipment is trash. Management raises the pay every few months yet sterling still looks a mess??? Where is our money going? So you can fix other peoples trailers and maintain your pay?
Kids are mean here, running around all hours of the night. Pulls knifes out on adult's. People walk throughout your yard and steal from you. The office don't seem to care they just tell you to put cameras. I do not recommend anyone to live here
Corporate agreed to replace my mothers sidewalk after years of begging. We boarded her dog so fresh concrete could be laid. 2 days later we came back to a coat of thin cement over the same problem and now it is a worse trip and fall and still floods Also corporate said they would work with Moms Social security schedule And only after that we are charged late fees every month. Rent has increased over 900 a month in 21 years. Beyond her means! I am trying to help Mom stay in her place and pay the difference But after trying to talk to the women in the office… I am sad my mom wants to stay they The office Women are unprofessional Never follow up. The rent would be somewhat is range if they still had a pool, someone at the gate and 24/7 security. This was a park for owners only and now rental is a priority and the standards of the property decreased. I would give less than one star if possible. Maybe if the office reads this they might return my calls!!! Ask Ernie in corporate if the park office is doing good by the community?????
If zero stars was an option that would be my rating. This place is a joke. From high rent to shootings. Just last night my neighbor 3 doors down was shot and killed in a drive by in his driveway. A week ago there was a shooting at the community basketball court, a place where children are supposed to play and have fun. The management and office personal are rude and very unprofessional with ANY situation that is brought to their attention. They are quick to threaten eviction over overgrown grass and basketball hoops in your yard but when it comes to the community voicing concern over safety of our families we are brushed off because the situation was an isolated attack and the victim was said to be targeted. THAT DOESN'T MAKE IT RIGHT NOR SAFE FOR THIS COMMUNITY!! What do we pay $1,400 a month for? This is just a small portion of what is wrong with this place.
I’ve lived here almost 2 years and so far haven’t had a problem the office has always seemed to help me when I call for a issue I don’t really have any issues with anything here I just wish they would clean up the park more!!
Been here for 5 years,gets worse every year. Trying to get something fixed or repaired IS IMPOSSIBLE. Office is pretty unprofessional, and have been lied to several times. Sad...... Now when moving out was told we didn't have a security deposit. 2300 lost because or contract was changed. We were Lied to. And it's happened to several people. BE CAREFUL!!!
I'm completely appalled by the lack of professionalism that comes from this company. My husband and myself came in late June to discuss renting a mobile home. We started with Lorraine who said we would need to be added to a waiting list but to apply and call her once completed. We finished it that day and was informed that she would contact us when she had some info, she said that they only had one home available for us to look at nothing more, which was fine. At this point we only chatted through text and never were treated like potential residence. fast forward to us being informed after calling in that Lorraine was gone and we have been transferred to Randy. We were told September the home would be ready, then October..then after us checking the home and viewing it from the outside only, we noticed the home was tagged up with graffiti and windows all busted out. We let them know and they said they were working on it. We kept getting pushed back because they didn't have the keys, it wasn't ready..etc..etc...Just a weeks ago they asked for a deposit, we said how can we give a deposit when we haven't even looked at the home? Magically they had the keys and we scheduled for a viewing on Saturday. Cash In hand ready to put a deposit down. Andrea couldn't take our money and had no info regarding the home and also gave us the wrong price. She said to talk with Randy on Monday. Monday comes and Randy mention needing more pay stubs, my husband told him we'll do it that night and when can we meet to give him the deposit. After a few hours of no responses and several call and text later we were informed that the home was given to someone else.. I usually wouldn't take this much back and forth but we wanted to move so badly that we let these red flags and lack of communication slide right by us. At the end of the day, they actually did us a favor because from what I can see that place is completely mismanaged and over run with problems, not to mention the pot holes that will take out your tire. You would imagine for as much money as they ask, the park would be maintained but its not. Good luck to those moving In here or interested. I would stay far away. They're like dirty sales man, jut want your money and nothing more.
I've had problems with the septic system, so I call per usual. Today the representative that answer started off with a bad attitude and said I had to PAY FOR THE PLUMBER to come out. After the last plumber had to refix my sink pipes because they were put in wrong. Then they said the Dishwasher won't be REPLACED. Because I was NVER ABLE TO TURN IT ON, I KNOW darn well the owners don't know how their place is being ran. THE MAINTENANCE, DOES NOT RELAY MESSAGES ABOUT THE UNITS Condition WE HAVE TO CREATE A TICKET FOR THINGS he SEEs WRONG. Wow PROBLEMATIC BECAUSE THE REP THEN THINKS WE ARE COMPLAINING when we call again as advised by the maintenance. . I never write reviews ever. But do to the blatant disrespect, I have no other choice but to. I have a video my son didn't put a toy in there as they assumed he came out unstopped it - no tissue or toy. I was happy when I move here. Seemless transaction, new home nothing should be wrong all I have to do is pay money and experience at least 8.5/10 perfection expectations. That's business- I pay I get service. There's nothing personal expecially when the problem is not the customers. If I have to pay separately for the plumbing I will edit this post. I like Dorthy, & Randy, but the other young lady her professionalism is non existent. I hate having bad reps on the forefront of business they are the ones that drive the place down. Even she said she's been here for 9 years, there's no plumbing problem here that's what she said. I love everything about this place but decent help is hard to come by for sure! All I want is seemless transactions I don't want to deal with attitudes. What would ever warrent you disrespecting customers. I see a opportunity to RE-TRAINING. IM SOOOO SHOCKED BEYOND DISBELIEF, IM THE NICEST PERSON EVER!! I LOST MY CHILDS FATHER FROM COVID-19, IM IN A DELICATE STATE I DONT NEED ANYONE DISRESPECTING ME. FOR problems that should be seemlessly fixed. Without the extra charge video can be sent of plumbing fix upon asking should not have went this far. Just tired of unacceptable behavior on the phone. All I want is everything in working conditions- somehow that makes reps mad
Even at desperate times DONT MOVE HERE! It’s filthy. Their workers leave a mess on your property. Office is of no help whatsoever. Noise is ridiculous & of course they act like it’s an inconvenience that I’m saying anything to them. They have a sister property in Hodgkins. They need to bring that staff over to train these in Justice. The only time you see them out of the office is to put violations on doors. It’s like a few reviews down said … they are on you for rent or whatever but come to them for a repair or support. ~crickets~ the unit they sold me has roof leaks and they assured me the roof was just done. They took the dishwasher to place in another unit. Which I don’t need it but don’t f’n tell me that. I regret signing with this place. Definitely stay away!
Super happy with my experience here. Just closed on my property with my husband. Carol was such a help from start to finish. I have already sent several friends over and soon we will be neighbors....... Now almost a year later and it's horrible When we first bought I was beyond excited and happy. Now we are been targeted because I reported the misconduct of one of their employees. Now I am being forced into court because I said I have every right to defend myself if anyone comes into my personal space because their employee made me feel unsafe and made threats towards me. I filed a report with the police and all. This started in April of this year and now in July they want to take me to court because of my statement. Yet in the same paragraph in our lease and rental agreement with the park almost every neighbor is in violation and yet no one is being forced out but us..... I now have to seek legal counsel so we don't lose our home and are forced out of the community. The regional manager George was of no help at all he said because my voice is loud that I made an employee scared and for that he will hold up the paperwork and take me to court to get me out. I am livid since moving into this park I have helped several people buy and close here and I am truly regretting it. We pay to live in a gated community that isn't gated. There is no security system within the park to help keep us safe our water isn't safe to drink without boiling it this is nuts. Please if anyone can help us please reach out
