This place is absolutely beautiful! We come back again and again; we have stayed in the cabins, electric, and non electric sites and have had an amazing time no matter where we stayed. I have not found a more beautiful campground with its sloping ravines, many tall deciduous trees, wildlife surrounding you the owls like to hoot at night and a plethora of birds to great you in the mornings which we love and if you stay at the A frame inside the camping area you get to watch a family of chipmunks go about their day! and the trails close by. Ms. Brenda is amazing, if you want to know anything about this beautiful area she is full of knowledge about the land. Always super helpful and friendly, always around the grounds busy making sure everyone has everything they need. She’s an absolute gem, we just love her! If you are looking for a peaceful stay surrounded by nature in a beautiful campground this is the place to go!
Camped here near Clark Creek. Camp host was lovely and helped bring camping gear to the site. Our sites were overlooking a ravine and the place felt woodsy and secluded, not like a state park campground with people all around you. The shower was perfect and to have a bathroom camping is luxury too! Nearby activities: Hiking Dog-friendliness: Friends brought dogs Picnic area: Sites had picnic tables
Mrs Brenda was amazing!! She accommodated us with our late arrival and she came to check on us after a pretty bad rainstorm. The campsite was perfect and we 10/10 recommend. We will most definitely be back.Rooms: 5/5
We like rustic camping. This was perfect. The staff was amazing! If we ever return to Louisiana we will happily camp here again. The woods were so amazingly beautiful! Thank-you!Rooms: 5/5
Absolutely love Tunica Hills Campground. Ms. Brenda is the best. The campsites are beautiful. Showers are clean. Can’t say enough great things about this place. The cabins are wonderful. Very fair pricing. Oh and don’t forget about the super friendly Marcus the barkus who loves your leftovers and will never come snooping for them. Simply call and he will thank you for whatever you have to offer. Picnic tables and fire rings with level tent pads at each site. THANK YOU TUNICA HILLS CAMPGROUND.
Neat little camping ground with choices of cabin, A-frame houses, and primitive camping with and without electricity. We went camping and had a spot with electricity, but we never used it. The sites are on the top of a steep hill with a small creek at the bottom. Brenda, the owner, will drive you to her spot in an atv, but onky a handful of spots can be reached by car. Nothing is far, but it's worth taking into consideration when you are packing. Great location, we saw a ton of woodpeckers and a big owl in our two nights there. The waterfalls are a 15 minute ride north and the camp site is dog friendly. Everything is quiet by 10 and it's really set up to enjoy the outdoors. Not made to come down with a bunch of folks and get rowdy. Restrooms: Little Portajohn, shower, and sink but all is primitive and don't expect too much. But it's there and it works! Warm water is available too, but it wasn't hot by any means. Dog-friendliness: Very dog friendly Picnic area: Nice camping spots with individual fire places.
Mrs. Brenda was absolutely amazing! She not only accommodated us with a late arrival but also checked on us after a bad storm. 10/10 would recommend for a family or couple camping trip. We will definitely be back!!!
Absolutely beautiful. Brenda was very helpful and made sure we were all comfortable. The tent sites are really nice and well maintained. Will definitely be back!Service: 5/5
The place, when we went 3½ years ago, was so wonderful! Such varied and interesting trails, with highly varied alternate paths and little sights and such... with ample space in the campground and such kindhearted owners, I will always treasure the few days I spent here.Rooms: 5/5
I absolutely loved our cabin and stay. Quiet and peaceful. Can't wait to return and try the 2 bedroom!Rooms: 5/5
