The librarians there are courteous, friendly, and very helpful. My spouse puts in for our videos and books online and they notify us by e-mail when they come in. Interlibrary loan is also a way to get books from other libraries. They have Wi-Fi and computers you can sign in for and use.
My review/rating in no way a reflection of the staff. It IS a review/rating on the funding provided for libraries in TX as a whole. It's sad that they are not open every day of the week, as they are in many other states, contain a limited number of resources, and often lack play areas for littles that we had at ALL the libraries in the state we moved here from. #sad I guess 'border security'>education/library resources.
The library system has gone to ridiculous hours opening later in the day and closing earlier that your average person cannot access them if they have a regular job but need to access the library to get books or information and such this is very depressing but you can't use the library unless you take time off from your job.
This library holds a special place in my heart because I've been coming here since I was in elementary. Imelda is the sweetest, most helpful librarian. They have a children's section, teen section, and a section that offers resources to adults. This library is the perfect size.
I met a few women here then we went right over to the hotel across the street so cant complain

I walked in just after 5 pm to renew my long-expired library card. There were a good handful of cars & activity the parking lot, but inside the doors it was inviting ... & quiet. It's been a while - I'd forgotten how quiet it was in the library. The Librarian was friendly, knowledgeable, and glad to take care of my needs. I think my last card had to be mailed to me, but she handed me a plastic card with a wallet card punch-out & one for a key ring. It couldn't have been more than 5 minutes from when I entered the library doors until I was walking out with my new library cards. The library was quiet, efficient, inviting, and it made me smile. I shall certainly return.
Westfall Library has a variety of books , audio books and DVD for any want /need. The employees were friendly and helpful. My daughter and I will definitely be back next week to check out more books.
Loved my experience here! The staff was very friendly from the front desk to the children program teacher, Imelda! We participated in the toddler story time and she did really great at engaging all the little ones! She got to their level and made it super fun for everyone. Would love to come back
