The Landa Gardens Conservancy was formed in 2004 as a non-profit organization dedicated to beautifying and maintaining the grounds at the Landa Public Library.

Description

In 1946, Harry Landa donated his Monte Vista estate to the City of San Antonio as a memorial to his wife, Hannah. The estate was to be utilized as a public library, a playground for children and public gardens for the enjoyment of all. It is the goal of the conservancy to maintain the vision of preserving the grounds for all to enjoy!

Cute cafe! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Try the empanadas! They are so good!!! I had a discada and beef fajita empanada. They are a local shop with a vintage vibe.

Quiet and very beautiful place. Exelent location for taking pictures ,relaxing, reading a book and walking. It feels isolated from city's noise and hustle. Landa library is located right next to the gardens, small but also a beautiful place to visit.
Great place to work @ the library.
