So I stop in William Sonoma just to kill some time before an appointment. As I'm browsing the store, filled with yummy delights, so I thought . I decide to pick up some lollipops Knowing that William-Sonoma is on the higher end of things. Everything must be yummy right? I pick up a tub of Rainbow lollipops just because I thought they would be special at $18.00 Later that evening, I tried a lollipop and I was extremely upset, No flavor, it was like licking a cube of raw sugar. It actually hurt my mouth. I couldn't finish it. it was terrible and I would never give to a child- something so rough. Well on the receipt it is stated, no food returned. I called the store and told them about their awful pops and was met with a series of apologies, but "that's our policy " It is one thing to not take food back, but it is also another thing to not respect your customers and make them feel like they got ripped off . Which clearly I do feel I recommend that you think twice before you purchase anything edible at WS. great packaging and high price, doesn't mean anything. Lesson learned. William Sonoma when a customer tells you it's bad, it's bad!. Don't think your above an $18.00 return
I researched online for what I wanted, ordered it online, picked out location I wanted to pick it up in 2 hours, only to find out they don't even have it. In fact I can't get it until after Christmas, delivered to my house.
Went to the Woodcliff Lake store on Sat, 11/20/2021 to buy All Clad cookware set and a toaster oven for our new kitchen. For toaster oven, we particularly picked Wolf Gourmet Oven Elite that has red knobs. The sales person helping us and myself agreed how nice the red knobs are. In the end, we picked up the Wolf oven because of the red knobs and a 10-pc All Clad Copper Core + other things spending a total of $2,887.17. When we got home, we found out that they gave us the oven with stainless steel knobs and when we called, they explained that the red knob oven is not available. When we were registering the cookware, we also found out that their price on the All Clad cookware is $100 more than All Clad online store and/or Crate & Barrel $1599.95 vs. $1499.95. At Crate & Barrel you also get a bonus of an oval roaster and 2 red mittens. We figured we could ask WS to match the lower price however, it's more that the sales woman just wanted to make the sale that she did not bother to tell us that we are actually not getting what we want. The next day, we went to another branch of WS because Woodcliff Lake is closed on Sundays and returned the cookware set and the oven. I wish I know the name of the sales lady that helped us as she needs to understand what she did S-454, R-3, T-6033, A-926298. I will never go back to this store again and will not recommend this store to all of my friends, colleagues and family.
William Sonoma, Pottery barn as in really? Loll they can never let you down. They are expensive and they aim the high style so yes... that Sonoma is awesome. I personally like it for where it is and the people as well. They are very nice and helpful. If you're not of the area, walk down to the Pottery barn for some ridiculously gorgeous ideas for your home, try some new pastries at Panera or the very best with a view that says come rest at the burger place further down. It is grand, quiet, and the food is to dying for! It is not the largest but it's somewhat the same size as most Sonomas and they always got what you need in stock! I myself welcome you! Happy shopping !!!
The sales reps are all friendly and have smiling faces. They will help you find anything. I love the store for the products that they carry, and when they have a sale,..........well trouble follows. But I can't resist. I highly recommend Williams Sonoma to any serious cook who loves the kitchen as the best room in the house.
I absolutely LOVED being in this store last Saturday! Aside from getting to sample homemade ice cream, the staff were SO nice. And I will say, that as a 48 year old woman, I loved the fact that most of the staff were beautifully older, as well! Nice to know that companies don't discriminate. It was an absolute pleasure being here and although we have one right in Montclair, I'll be coming to this one!!!
Went to this store earlier in the week. Sign out front clearly states masks worn inside for safety of all. Once inside, the manager had her mask under her nose the entire time, even while helping customers. She was touching her nose, mask, products, customers credit cards etc. not once did I see her or any other worker use the purell that was out on the counter. Will not be returning.
I am local customer and avid chef, its just too bad that every time I visit this store I am NEVER greeted, no one ever asks me if I need assistance or if I would like to see a product. This has been going on for years. I expect a local community store to go above and beyond in assisting their customers. There is always plenty of staff working, on the floor and in the back room. I am at Tice frequently but have decided to take a stance and will no longer be patronizing this location.
I love the store and its products. I dislike the nasty, bossy staff comprised of older women who can be rude and aggressive. They are quick to get annoyed and often to seem to want to chase you out of the store for no reason unless you appear to fit their client profile criteria which is - affluent women in their 40s, 50s, 60s with plenty of money to spend on frivolous household chachkas.
Great store but there are 2 people here that always make me feel unwelcome.
