I tried to refund a gift item on new years eve. There were not many people shopping there and there were 4 workers. First I was asked if the items were from WS even though the items were never opened and all the labels and stickers were still attached. Then it over an hour to get a an exchange because they had to generate an emerchandise email. I have never spent over an hour on a simple xmas gift exchange. I willnever shop there again. Also, I will tell my mom and mt sister to never shop there. They both spent in total, nearly $2000 I'm purchases.
I bought a vitamix product here that doesn’t work. They refuse to exchange it because vitamix has a warrant and I need to go though vitamix instead of exchanging it at the store. I won’t be buying anything else from this store.
Very nice, super friendly staff. Cheryl helped me find some Truffle Butter along with a few other things I need for cooking. Will definitely shop again
I love their products, and everyone is super nice whenever I going into the Westport location. But there’s never an abundance of customers in there and yet it still takes me about an hour to get in and out. People seem to be really confused, too busy restocking the shelves and having side conversations. Half of my time I’m standing around waiting for people. I definitely will return to this location because it is most convenient for me, but I wouldn’t if I didn’t have to.
Staff here is wonderful! I was just in today, an annoying customer who shows up for their online order before getting the email that it is even ready...John went above and beyond helping to fill an nearly impossible last minute order! The store is kept beautifully and is in a lovely spot to spend time and shop around.
Don't bother. They have nothing in stock. It's just a front for their website. It's just easier to shop online yourself. I have gone multiple times over the last three years and they have NOTHING in stock. Total waste of my time, every time. No more.
I purchased a Shun knife set from William Sonoma online and wanted to add on to it. I decided to go directly to the Westport CT store and hopefully get more info from a representative......NOT TRUE After wandering around the small store for 20 minutes and getting ignored I asked a rep for assistance she told me she just cooks and really did try to assist but asked the male manager to assist us. I guess he was too busy talking into his microphone that he couldn’t help us, we gave it another 10 minutes but couldn’t handle the lack of customer service we left. I am now online ordering online. Perhaps you should hire employees with social skills, just a suggestion After reading other reviews I guess others feel the same way!
Paid close to $700 for a Wolf countertop oven. Upon arriving home and unpacking it became clear the product was used, yes used, but sold as NEW. Missing parts, used trays with stains. Called and assured it was new, turned oven on, steam pouring out of door. After multiple back and forths, eventually exchanged for NEW oven. Absolutely appalling for the “Upscale store”.
