Always been my go to advertising recommendation for small companies, however they seem to have left that behind and now they only give vouchers to big spenders. While I understand they have 'matured' to this niche and can justify it on their terms, it feels as if they are out of touch with South Africa and the developing world, especially considering Covid was the biggest economic challenge in history since World War 2 and South Africa is all battling State Capture. Google seems out of touch these days, answer to share holders, not customer centric anymore, ivory tower has been constructed.
Great office location. The hosts are very friendly and serious about their business. It was a pleasure to be able to visit!
Customer service is ridiculous!!! People are submitting fake reviews or reviewing businesses that they were never actually at. You report it and they just tell you it will not be removed. Are reviews even a valid and trustworthy point of view anymore? Let’s not get started on reviews by competitors that are not true. How are you going to eliminate this Google? Even after I investigated the reviews and found out that they were in fact fake or false you denied the removal. You provide a platform for the public to review however you don’t allow the facilities for a business owner to protect their business. Very disappointing and annoyed.
I had enough of the incorrect telephone numbers displayed by google for businesses on web site If i hear a voice once again saying that the number you have dialled is incorrect again i am going to explode. This has happened time and time again.Totally unacceptable.
Very disappointed with Google i made a mistake in my payment paid more 9x ...i was supposed to pay R1000 but i mistakenly paid R10000. I email them ,i cancelled all my campaigns to get refund up to today no refund . I lost R10 000 to Google ads is 5 weeks now my campaigns are down ,i have to borrow money to survive because Google ads don't care about my situation. Be careful Google ads is a scam

All I can say that for a corporation this size, Google's customer service is beyond pathetic. My Business listing on Google was suspended for no apparent reason and without any warning. You cannot phone anyone to assist as they politely inform you on the numbers provided that they do not take calls. I submitted my form for the re instatement of my business listing yesterday . Still waiting. I managed to get someone from Google ads to phone me and they looked at my business profile and could not see any reason for my business listing to be suspended. Another issue I have is that in the drop down box provided for your primary business category their are a pathetic limited choice of options and none that suits my business which is the retail of Door Handles, Door Locks, Cabinet Handles and Knobs. Absolutely pathetic.
Is it awesome inside Google Johannesburg? Absolutely! If you have read reviews of Google campuses around the world, althought smaller, it has all the elements, but with a South African flair. Well done Google as this office is definetly proudly South African!
Grossly incompetent. Log calls, no action. Not even a local contact number to be found here in South Africa.
We are running Google Ads and our spend reflects R87.50 but you charged us R500.00 . This is daylight robbery an unacceptable. I suggest people double check google ad spend compared with what google charges you. So this is why Google is multi billion dollar company stealing from businesses.
