On 26 November'22, my Volvo XC60 broke down. As my vehicle is still under a maintenance and warranty plan, Volvo assist towed my vehicle and to Volvo Auto Baltic Midrand and severely damaged it in the process. After Volvo Auto Baltic supposedly fixed the breakdown, Volvo had my vehicle taken to Renew It Rivonia on 2 December'22. I received my vehicle back on 15 December'22 with even more defects, and all the body damaged still not fixed. On 11 January'23, my vehicle broke down again. It was then taken to Volvo Silverlakes for diagnosis and repairs. On 17 January, I received my vehicle back from Volvo after they claimed nothing is wrong they simply cleared the logs and now everything is “fine”. After receiving my vehicle on the 17th of January, it taken to Renew It Rivonia by Volvo – once again – to fix the damage they caused on the 28th of November 2022. Volvo had my vehicle dropped off at my home on the 2nd of February only to find that the damages has not been fixed. On the 2nd of February, my vehicle once again broke down with an engine error on the N4. Volvo only had it collected on the 6th of February, and taken to Autobaltic Nelspruit. I received a call on 16 February to collect my vehicle, however, Volvo has still not repaired any of the body damages they caused. In Summary - Volvo prides themselves on having the safest cars, however, I doubt this is true as I have had issues with engine breakdowns three times in the past three months. - Volvo's maintenance and repair shops are incompetent as they cannot seem to fix any problem and now my vehicle is in for the third time. - Volvo Customer Care can hardly be classified as customer care as they never respond or resolve any issues. Each time the customer needs to contact them for any updates. Case number 02218531 - Volvo makes use of sub-par contractors for towing. - When I bought my Volvo from Volvo CMH Hatfield, they said Volvo has an excellent customer relations department and services department which, was obviously just a sales gimmick. I have owned several Volvos and the level of service and professionalism has deteriorated. I can assure you this is the last time that I will consider owning a Volvo or recommending anyone to you. Further, Volvo’s negligence and damage inflicted on me will be reported to the Motor Industry Ombudsman of South Africa

The team in the parts department for Volvo are good. They have quick turn around and give you feedback. My vehicle has not been in for a service, but engaged with the service manager for assistance. More than a week later there is no feedback or any communication whatsoever. Engagement has tainted my view of the dealership and will probably not take my vehicle there for a service.
I have been servicing my car here for a while and sadly the service deteriorates all the damn time. My car has been here for 4 weeks, 4 damn weeks without notice or any follow-up. I have to be one calling and asking how far they are with the car. oh, did i mention how difficult it to get hold of the service advisers? Am extremely disappointed with these guys, do you self a favor and not go here for services.
Bad Service - Took my V40 for a service here, I asked for the PDC to be fixed as it goes off constantly for no reason, they looked at it and changed it and asked me to let them know if still a problem, they could have driven it and seen it's still an issue. I also required follow up communications for a speaker to be replaced and for a quote on an extended warranty. I received no call back for either of these and had to call multiple times to try and get an answer. 5 times, leaving messages and getting promises on a follow up. It's now booked for the follow up so we will see. Volvo, you need to beef up your comms, keep track of your follow ups better and ensure a pleasurable customer experience. Let's hope you fix this going forward.
Walked around looking at V40 a car I'm interested in purchasing in future for over 10 minutes without being asked if I would like assistance. Was not even busy. Will purchase a car at another dealership which is more attentive.
Only getting worse. Issues with the car not attended to and had to wait 1 week to get my car back. Wrong part fitted during service as well. Very poor.
Good service from Liandi. Conveniently located close to the Gautrain station. Will use them again.
