Bathurst Agricultural Museum is situated in Bathurst in the Eastern Cape and boasts an impressive display of machinery, transport and equipment used in those times, allowing us a sneak peak into the past and giving us some insight into the agricultural heritage and history of Bathurst. Was so much fun seeing all the old tractors. If you love to know more on the history of Bathurst Agriculture, please visit this museum. Loved it.
A very interesting museum. The owners gave us an informative tour watching the old tractors start was fascinating.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure

Wow, the history in this place is something else. Was awesome to see.
I visited the agricultural show that was hosted at the museum. Very nice experience
In principle, a very nice museum with plenty of exhibits related to the last 200 years of agriculture history. Only in a bit desolate state: many things are rusty, broken and not well taken care of. Obviously, the museum is on a very low budget, and the owner does not have a possibility to perform the restoration of the old pieces. Still worth a visit, especially with kids. Many exhibits are available to touch and test - a rare experience, not usually possible in an "ordinary" museum.
Lots of interesting antiques and knowledgeable staff. Had a great time.
Just loved seeing a little gem of place showcasing some real South African heritage. My son loved to see the tractors & Settler's wagons, and we finished off a cold beer at the Ploughman's Pub on site. A great outing.
Very nice, informative and interesting. Would definitely recommend it. Worth a visit.
