The clerk at small claims court is really efficient and gives the impression that she truly cares. The commissioner was also really friendly, punctual and efficient. Premises looks very clean security staff are very helpful.

We sat there for 2 hours anf at 5 they let us know that our case will not happen as the commissioner will not be coming in for his appointment. What a wait of time. Really no service there.

It's a typical court full of sadness. Service it not great, and staff lack people skills.

Went in December. Was amazed at how clean the premises were. Received excellent service from Estates counter 2.

Pathetic service and communication, nobody answers the phone and when I was there, I waited 5 hours just to be told to come back next month as case has been postponed, A simple DUI case is still going on now for 2 years and every month I must appear to be told its postponed. Lawyers are the only ones benefitting from this.

The clerks at the divorce court should get another job. It's obvious that they hate being there. What an unpleasant experience.

Small Claims Court - I found the process quite efficient, the clerk is helpful and friendly and helps people over the phone as well. The hearing process also went great and judgement was quick. There is nothing that can be done to wait months for your court date and that is not fault to the clerk or small claims office - there is a process and it gets followed. Second day here and the same song is sung... You need to be here at 6am so that you can get seen, we only see a few people each day. I need a divorce and besides the lack of friendliness and information the people work like they at the beach and on holiday. Irritated by the public ignorance and talking like we are unlogical with any common sense. Not sure why there is only one lady doing first applications like knowing the fact that onee has to arrive almost 3 hours before opening is not enough to logically summise that the demand is far outstripping supply. And why we nott aerating with the tools of the 21st century like the Internet is beyond me. Seldom have I experienced such pathetic, rude and disrespectful service. Desperate need of a culture change.

Divorce papers filing and staff that helps with copies are awesome. Very Organised.. Except the Maintenance staff are cold. Maintenance Investigator needs help or someone to assist as his literally drowning in files to such an extent that it never gets sorted. Nothing as in Nothing was done except phone calls. No advice No help. Help urself or forget there is a maintenance department at Bellville Magistrate Court. This is how men get away with everything leaving women and their kids to suffer. It all starts here at the Maintenance Department where a phone call is enough and your file is put under the thousands of files.
