Our business operating hours are open from 10:30 to 22:00 hrs from Monday to Saturday and 10:30 to 21:00 hrs on Sundays.

Second time in 3 weeks visiting a best of Asia branch. First visit to this one. Lived up the name and expectations. Even a few differences to their menu that makes it better. Great belt space, friendly service and great sushi as expected. Well done, easy 5 stars.
Most delicious sushi in town. All you can eat buffet for R199 includes salmon roses, tempura, rolls, wasabi parcel etc. and one special dish of sushi as well as a Chinese dish. Amazing quality and outstanding service. Recently renovated and such a cool atmosphere. 5 stars, highly recommended. Parking: Lots of free parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Suitable for people in wheelchairs.
Always a treat to eat at Best of Asia Capegate. Friendly staff and the sushi is yummy. The buffet is a winner if you have a big appetite!
Absolutely Horrible service! I ordered a SALMON Salad through Mr. D Food; when it arrived, it was PRAWN. I called Portia at Best of Asia who was initially very apologetic and offered to rectify the problem. Well, after back and forth calls, 3 hours later, she left and I still hadn't received my food.After 3 hours I received my Salmon salad, soaked in Soy Sauce as I received it from the Mr. D Delivery guy.
Was very nice. We had the sushi buffet for R189 all you can eat. Good value for money. I found the rice to be a little but too "stodgy/sticky" but the rest of the ingredients were nice and fresh. Tempura prawn was very nice.
Absolute trashy. Waitress came to assist at the entrance and guided us to a sit down meal each. Sit down but handed a packet of 2 containers . 1 container with the "sizzling dish" in a plastic box!??? The prawns were actually shrimps and not prawns of any size. The crispy beef I ordered tasted like old carbonized bacon fat. We never even finished much and honestly with staffs attitude I wont even bother complaining except highlight the experience here. I've been to Taiwan. Hong Kong and the Philippines so I know what authentic asian food tastes like. My Philippine wife was totally disgusted. You should be called the " Worst of Asia" I gave R20 tip before receiving the food. I would suggest being actually authentic if you want to be " The Best of Asia" Totally disgusted and will.never return even if given a free R5000 voucher. Dont bother following up on my review either I'm just as interested in you following up as your staff is on service I think it's a good thing expecting customers to pay before eating that way you get to keep the money no matter how disgusted your customers are What I'm more disgusted in is how Cape Gate Centre Management can allow such a rotten restaurant to operate in their centre. Leaves a very bad taste in my mouth!
Best of Asia was my go to place, however, there has been a change in attitude from the staff and the quality of the food since it is under new management. With my last visit on 10 January 2022, I have decided not to visit the store again. My husband and I decided to visit the store for supper and arrived around 8pm. When we asked the waiter what time they were closing he said "they" were still decided. The look we received from the "chef" was unwelcoming. When the waiter brought our drinks to the table we were told to place our full order at once. Whilst eating, another waited asked me from across the room if I wanted the bill? I was actually chewing my food when she asked me this from across the room. They could not get rid of us fast enough. We arrived, ordered, and left the parking lot in under and hour for a bill of over R600! I would have received better service and more value from a KFC meal!!! Not all the plates ordered were made. The store has not had sushi in a very long time. I do miss the old management team believe he returned to China and is not coming back and there seems to be a whole new "waitering team" as well. The previous ones were much friendlier and new the regular customers. The current ones, need to undergo customer service training.
We went to Best of Asia Cape Gate for a nice all you can eat experience... Turns out it is an all you can wait experience. Ordered the first round and only got half the sushi. Now, after almost 2 hours, the second round is not on the table yet. Feels like our orders keep on getting given to other people. Also the waiter is sometimes so easily distracted that I consider distracting his tip. Will not be dining here again.
We were here on Tuesday, 3 January 2023 and only after we had been waiting 20 min were we told that there was no tuna in stock but that wasn't much of a deal breaker for us. We had waited about an hour and 30 minutes each time for our sushi to arrive and there were absolutely zero pieces on the belt. This was a concern since they weren't even busy, maybe 2 or 3 other patrons apart from us. The waitress also only came to check on us every hour and 30 minutes as well which was a bit annoying but we chalked it up to it being an off day for Best of Asia. Since then, we visited today, 8 January 2023 to give them a second chance and low & behold, still no tuna in stock. Due to this we decided to go to several different sushi places in the immediate area to ask about tuna stock to which they all responded "we have plenty of tuna available" and that is where I end my review, eating tuna and enjoying timely delivered sushi. Difficult to say whether or not I would return to Best of Asia Cape Gate again
I had the worse experience dining in at best of asia cape gate. The waiter flat out ignored me several times. I let him know that my order had not been served over an 1h 30 minutes. Customer that came way after me ate and had left already. I will never come to this restaurant again. Period.
