Canopy Walk Boomslang Kirstenbosch Gardens

Very nice but unfortunately also very short. The boomslang is about 100 meters or so. The views are beautiful and walking through the canopy is fun but it is a very short walk. It isn't really accessible for wheelchairs. To get to the canopy you have to walk on some unpaved grounds. It's possible, but quite a challenge

Interesting walk, more effort to get there, but gives great views of parts of the garden and the mountain.

Being a senior citizen has definitely some perks...free entrance on a Tuesday, senior discount on the Sightseeing Bus and senior breakfast menu.

Living in this beautiful town I can believe we have only visited now. Don't be like us. Go see it now!

The top hot spot within Kirstenbosch Botanical and the place to shoot your must-do - selfie. Stunning views from above. Looking at the Table Mountain and below at the beautiful surrounding. At least do the Boomslang in 2 directions.

Stunning concept you are 11 metres above the ground with a canopy of trees afromontane forests just insanely beautiful. The views are incredible!

If all botanical gardens had this canopy trail, then I'd visit all of fhem This thing is amazing, We took very lovely pictures and it has that rommance thing attached to it...

What a great addition to the gardens, it's a must do when visiting with fantastic views. It can get quite busy and difficult to move along on. Please be aware that it is suspended so it does move with people on it, if you don't have good balance make sure to use the handrails. The handrail is 1.2m high which is more than adequate to keep all safe however its till important to keep and eye on your young ones. It's wheelchair accessible too.
