We've been twice and both times were blown away by the food. It's fresh, tasty and well presented, and the kids food was just as good. The portions are generous and the prices are decent, although the sushi is considerably expensive compared to most. The service was outstanding and the staff were incredibly accommodating. The drink prices aren't bad either - what you'd expect for this type of restaurant. Kid-friendliness: The kids menu has a nice variety and the food is really good. The waitress brought us a coloring in page and Crayons, but other than that there's not much in the way of playground. There is a fake ships steering wheel that will keep them entertained.

Slow service - long wait times -Great food Cape Town Fish Market Grandwest will give you a bitter sweet feeling. -We were seated instantly, ordering our drinks as we arrived - we waited 20min for our drinks to arrive. -Once we ordered we proceeded to wait a further 1 hour for the food to arrive. -The sushi was some of the best iv ever had and their sirloin steak was delicious, even though they gave it to me rare when I asked for medium . If you are not in a rush Cape Town Fish Market Grand West is for you as its meals are worth the wait but if you want to say goodbye to 1hour and 30min of your evening it's also your best bet . I'd come back to this restaurant but it's nothing to write home about .

It was an amazing experience. Beautiful place and friendly staff. Loved it. The food was amazing. I went there with my mom and we had a smoked salmon salad, seafood platter for two my mom then had dessert and I had a virgin pina colada.

Everything was fine, but the service. We went on a Tuesday during lunch time. With only one table, which is ours, the sushi took about an hour to be served. It was very frustrating as it was lunchtime with no other tables to serve, but at least the sushi made up for that.Food: 4/5

I must say this was one of thee best burgers and chips i had ever had anywhere, it was so filling everything was cooked/fried to perfection. My first experience at Cape Town fish market Grandwest definitely worth it only thing is that the milkshake was so thick it couldn't really be sucked up through the straw provided but still the milkshake was delicious ‍ the deck setting omg everything was just amazing

Not my first choice in seafood outlets. Restaurant is big and spacious, seldom ever busy. The upside is that it's quiet and peaceful, the downside is that service is slow.. and eventhough it's never busy, the food always seems cold. As I said, never my first choice, but others seem to like it.Food: 3/5

I visited the Grand West branch again. The manager got in contact after seeing my reviews and wanted to prove that they can do better. This time around my dining experience was an absolute pleasure. Service was excellent and the food delicious. I observed the tables around me and got the same impression. Well done CTFM. And thank you for reaching out.

Food drinks and service were not very good steak was well done on one side and raw on the other asked for medium. If you can't make cocktails properly don't put them on the menu. Had to ask for plates to be cleared.

Waited over 30min for waiter to take order despite requesting assistance from hostess while others arriving after us were served and received their drinks before us. Food arrived an hour later, while drinks were still not served. Canceled ordersR500+ and walked out. Pathetic service esp from a reputable restaurant.

Was very disappointed in the portion of the Albatros platter we received. This is the first platter in the price range out of all the seafood restaurants I went to that was so petit. I had to get another Meal somewhere else to satisfy my hunger. Disappointed and did not expect it.
