City Lodge Hotel Victoria and Alfred Waterfront

Can’t fault this hotel on anything. The reception staff are friendly, helpful and courteous. The location is conveniently situated, walking distance from the V&A waterfront. The rooms are well appointed, very comfortable and spotlessly clean with international power points and effective air conditioning. A highly recommendable hotel. Calming view from my bedroom balcony.

Decent size rooms - some with both bath and shower whilst others have a shower alone. Restaurant has good variety for breakfast. Situated about 10 minute walk, or 5 minute drive away from the V&A Waterfront. Friendly and helpful staff.Rooms: 4/5

Great hotel. Marked down to 4 star due to the limited items on the food menu. Sad that both chicken and beef burgers weren't up to scratch, as it's my favorite cheat when away from home. However, if you want a great pizza and beer, they cater.

Lovely hotel....very clean tidy hotel..badly let down by serving staff...got given old smelly t-bone steak..not cooked properly...sent back to kitchen....never at any stage got an apology...given a pizza and expected to pay the steak price...then given the cold shoulder the next evening...was very ill the night of eating part of the steak and my wife had to clean up after me. Cleaning staff do an excellent job. Probably won't stay here again!! As an overseas traveller I have spent alot of time in different hotels and coming from Northern Ireland know Belfast hotels and this hotel has very little good comparison ...!! Rooms: Very clean....adequate..!! Food & drinks: Not very good..!!!

City Lodge Hotel offer great value for money while being located near the V&A Waterfront. The rooms are comfortable and the shower and bath offer options depending on your mood. Breakfast is hearty and gets your energy levels up for the day of exploration that lies ahead. Rooms: Basic amenities include TV, kettle and wifi. There is no fridge but the is a water bar and vending machine at reception to get drinks and snacks. Nearby activities: V&A Waterfront centre is 15min walk away and offer the full shopping and dining experience for any traveler. The city tour bus is also located close so it makes planning your activities a breeze. Safety: Safety in the area is great as there are several guards in the area to ensure you feel assured even if you have to walk after dark. Walkability: Everything is within walking distance. Long street as well as the V&A Centre.

The lady at reception forgot her name slightly chubby, short and round was quite rude and unwelcoming. The one allergic to fresh flowers im sure management will know which one from this description but others were polite and welcoming.Rooms: 3/5

Pleasant, excellent breakfast , lunch and dinner offers. Safe parking . Location perfect for the waterfront. Staff really great. Pretty night views of the city lights

Something about this place is just not quite lekker. Reminded me of a very clean, well tended public toilet with bad service. For the price it isn’t worth it.Rooms: 3/5

Brilliant. We thoroughly Enjoyed our Week Long Stay. Lovely location, a brisk walk from the vibrant V&A Waterfront. Very friendly Staff, made us feel very comfortable. Our room was clean and tidy, overall real value for money. Also the breakfast was enjoyable and wide spread, catering for Vegetarians as well. A real Home away from Home, will surely return.
