I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I wouldn't mind coming back. It is nice and clean . We only had two issues : TV access, there's a TVs but No access to any channels and the wooden floor makes noise. Their roof top is amazing Rooms: 3/5
I had an initial negative experience at the hotel but the Manager Shandre was outstanding in addressing my concerns and offered me a complimentary stay - it was done with humility and grace - it is so refreshing to see that some people really understand how to tackle customer's frustrations and win customers back. Great property - central location - competitive pricing and great breakfast. I will come back!
Excellent front desk staff. Clean room. Beautiful rooftop. Pool is a little small compared to pictures. Amazing location, secure parking. Right by kloof st restaurants and tourist attractions. Best value in cape town.Rooms: 5/5
Beautiful wall plant features, the pool was awesome ,the location is good. However, the housekeeping is below par, our room was not cleaned the whole day ,no towels were supplied after house keeping took them. The restaurant is below par for breakfast , I had English breakfast ,sausages were not done. Wardrobes needs doors. Nearby activities: Nice atmosphere , restaurants with sushi and seafood. Closer to amenities.
Great location and clean rooms. The pool area is also really nice as are the breakfast options. My only critique os that the actual hotel rooms don’t have adequate outlets. There were only two in the room and each was stuck behind a bed. Other than that, will stay again!
I can only speak for the spa hairdresser, as I didn't stay at the hotel, but the cloud nine staff was otherwise lovely. We booked for 2 adults and 2 children, took 2 hours in total of waiting in a totally non child friendly environment while everyone got done and my 3 year old didn't get a haircut because Tracy, the contractor and her client as well as the spa manager don't like children making noises. She was raising her eyes to the sky the whole time and told me they must keep it down as it bothers her sour, like her client. Unfortunately I don't use a muzzle, so offering haircuts to under 12 year olds means that you will have to either like them, or need to offer some colouring or entertainment for them! On that note, the 2 other ladies that work there are lovely and kind. Tracy, if your clients don't like kids, just like you don't, you should book them at a time when kids aren't booked. Don't go there with kids! Don't offer to service kids if you are going to make it a problem. Thank you to the wonderful cloud nine management who were kind enough to understand, and to the other two ladies that are unfortunate enough to work alongside you, Tracy. Shame
Had an amazing waitress Brenda, friendly and very professional with a beautiful smile. Food was great, best cosmopolitan Great vibe with neat and tidy facilities. Great smelling aswell. Made us feel like we were in holiday. Food & drinks: Good variety of food that taste amazing and at good prices
We booked a deal on daddy deals that included a 2 night stay and a 30 minute couple massage. The hotel is pretty! It had a good vibe and the rooms were super clean. We had a few issues: 1. Parking is R100 a day which we were told upfront about however the guys expected us to park on a whole bunch of tree roots which actually scraped the front of our car. We eventually waited for a proper parking but for a place that has 55 rooms, about 10ish parkings are not sufficient. 2. Someone helped us to the room but then came inside to show us how to use the safe. This was uncomfortable because we were 2 females and unfortunately the world is not a safe place. He was lovely however but I found this unnecessary. 3. We were not told that they do not have a generator to accommodate loadshedding. We therefore experienced loadshedding and it made us feel like we were at home. I’ve visited 5 different hotels over the past 5 weeks and this was the only one that didn’t cater for loadshedding. We also weren’t from the area so a loadshedding schedule would have been helpful. 4. The massage was give by Deluxe hair and spa. The ladies who massaged us seemed to not be qualified and can honestly injure someone if they’re not careful. They didn’t listen to my request about the massage pressure. Halfway through my massage I told the lady that she’s pressing too hard to which she said “ I’m not even pressing hard”.. and how would she know? She’s not in my body to know and after that I was over it and was ready to leave. It’s a good place to visit when there’s no loadshedding and based on their room prices there’s no reason to charge that much for parking. If someone stays for 2 nights, they should decrease the price. Imagine staying there for a week and paying R700 for parking. Overall though, It was pleasant.
Fortunately it was a quiet Saturday. No one else was by the pool except me and my two girlfriends. It was pure bliss. Thoroughly enjoyed the place. Food, staff and view was great.
Friendly staff, very accomodating and excellent customer service throughout my stay. Rooms were very clean and decked out and great rooftop restaurant! Thanks guys.
