What a wonderful evening. Fabulous food! We had calamari as a starter and mussels as a main. It was absolutely delicious! Believe you me, I mean it! Desert was also out of this world! Fantastic atmosphere, cozy and warm venue on a cold winter's evening in Stellenbosch. Love the art on the walls. Frank is such a friendly, warm person and very quick on his feet. I presume he is the manager there. Sisipho was our friendly waitress and went out of her way to keep us happy. I will definitely return and what is more is that I will definitely refer my guests from Baruch Guest Houses to go and eat there.

What a beautiful venue for a Mothers Day lunch. Thanks to Frank / Blessing , you made our experience very enjoyable and made mum feel special. We appreciate that. Thank God you were there to divert a 1star rating.

High price with nothing special. In fact underwhelming. 6 people 12 servings, they got 4 wrong, cold food served,. Italian menu.. Not a single Italian inspired dish! Not going back.Food: 1/5

We were originally seated at a table that wasn't cleared and reset, after being moved upstairs with a bit of a wait before ordering drinks - Nolu saved the day! Her happy demeanour and absolute joyful smile made our entire dinner so so much better! She's an asset to your team and drive like that can't be taught! Well done Nolu and thank you

A beautifully decorated and cosy intimate venue for friends and family to have lunch our dinner. Menu is broad and food is of a high standard. Pleasant evening all round with the feeling of being in the cellar or wine tasting room of a nearby estate.

Very nice selection of local wines by the glass and draft craft beers. I had the Wijnhuis Hamburger with very good French Fries. My wife ordered the Beetroot Carpaccio Feta Orange Pumpkin Seeds Zucchini, unusual.

Wijnhuis is just next level in atmosphere, decor, service and food! I would say without hesitation, the best restaurant I've ever been.

Very place good for Lunch, coffee, diner and wine. Very cosy terrace outside and also very friendly service. We had an excellent lunch here.

I have been here several times over the years and it was always pretty good back then but I was terribly dissapointed on my last visit. Food was below average tasting and poorly presented and very overpriced considering the quality of the food. It was not just my food that was dissapointing but several of the people sharing my table. One even had to send back his food due to being unedible. No compliments to the chef unfortunately.
