Just the most unfriendly staff!!!

Excellent customer service. Clinical nurse practitioner is well informed and friendly.

Closed when we arrived at 19:25, but sign clearly states they are open until 20:00.

Di Boord was always a very good pharmacy, but since it was taken over by Dischem Group, everything went down the drain. Staff standing like flowerpots in the aisle’s, trying very hard to avoid helping clients. Pharmacists still good, especially the older ones. The clinic sister very good and helpful. The checkout staff more interested in their cellphones and coversations with each other then helping clients. They are after all, doing you a major service to take your money.

Shocking, shocking. Not answering the phone and when they eventually do the person is incredibly rude.

Deserving zero stars. Most pathetic lack of service in many years. Phoned 3 times, no answer. Phone goes dead the moment one gets transferred. Then I went all the way to the pharmacy in person. What a mess. The assistant is absolutely incompetent. She cannot get a simple surname right, after asking me three times. Then all the scripts which have been sent through are completely disordered in some file. Nothing is alphabetical or arranged according to date. Eventually she finds my script, after going through numerous pieces of paper, and then claims I am not allowed to get the medication that was prescribed. According to her I have already received it! I never did, as I was away and not even here. I thought let’s move from Clicks pharmacy to Die Boord Pharmacy, hoping their service would be better! What a mistake and disappointment. And the pharmacist, Pieter, doesn’t even care. His answer to why they are not answering the phone and did the phone ring multiple times while I was standing there for 45min - with no answer! - shame, my poor fellow clients…also being ignored! is a “we are busy” and he shrugged it off when I complained. No effort. No “sorry”. Just a no-care attitude. Amazingly appalling. I am shocked. Even Clicks Pharmacy at least answers their phone!!!! This is how this pharmacy has deteriorated. In the past 20 years, I have always received excellent service from them. Sadly, all gone during the past year, after being taken over by Dischem. All clients: Please rather go elsewhere.

Very difficult to do a telephonic order - wait, transfer, wait, transfer, wait, wait - come on Dischem, you can do better!!

Would definitely not recommend this pharmacy. Phoned twice over the course of an hour and waited for over 8 minutes each time for someone to take my call just for them to kill the call on their side. I ended up phoning Stelkor Pharmacy, where a friendly operator helped me, received my script via email and had my medicine delivered to me within the hour. The lack of telephonic service and communication at Die Boord pharmacy is especially shocking when you consider that this is the only way for some sick people to be able to communicate with the pharmacy e.g. my husband and I both had Covid and couldn't physically visit the pharmacy. Also, on all my visits to this pharmacy the head pharmacist has never worn a mask, or rather, has it dangling from his ear. This is a horrible example to be setting during a pandemic, in addition to potentially putting patients' and customers' lives and safety at risk. The ladies at the front till have always been friendly though.

My last 2 visits was a waste of time and I'll never return and support this Pharmacy. In December I made a booking to get my Discovery health tests done and on the day I arrived they confirmed that they did not had the equipment to assist me, even though they confirmed when I booked with them that they do theses health tests. I left it there disappointed and got my tests done at another pharmacy. Then a few weeks later when I again made a booking to get vaccinated along with another family member, on arrival they turned me down once again and said they can not help me today and need to return tomorrow. This after I made an official booking. They are not very organised at all and wasting clients time. I went to another pharmacy and straight away they assisted me. Will not return again

They dont answer their phone, and if they do, they cut you off. The new Dischem Manager knows one thing and that is burocracy and policy of Dischem - no concern for service or the client. A real pitty that this once fantastic pharmacy is now being messed up by the Dischem corporate rule based culture. Dischem, you and your stupid rules are not welcome in Stellenbosch. We will go elsewhere. And get other sanitizer at your front door - the one you use causes allergic reaction. Why on earth do you find it necessary to have a person dedicated to this job. You must overcharge us a lot if you waste money in this way.
