Dr. Leipoldt is such a sweetheart : He doesn't rush things off, he takes his time to explain to you exactly what he's doing and what it is for. He made me feel so comfortable, he made me laugh and just pretty much made my first scan experience amazing. Thank you Dr. Leipoldt for caring for your patients and taking pride in your job. This is not just a job for him, it's a passion :
Lovely Doctor. Unfortunately he lost me as a patient because of his support staff. Went for a scan on Monday- which I booked a month ago. Apparently no record of my appointment. Then there is no paper to print a picture of baby, of cds to put the scans on. They don't return phone calls when I query on when I will get my scans. They have ruined my first pregnancy's first special moment
Dr. Leipoldt was a wonderful doctor! Very patient and informative. He was calm and collected and explained everything with vast knowledge. Would recommend him to any parents to be.
I love Dr. Leipoldt, but his staff receptionists and the nurse are just rude. They also never contact you back when they say they will. This is just one example of what has happened before. I was told to hold on while on the phone with the receptionist, I could hear the receptionist having a conversation with another lady, after 5 minutes she said how can I help, I told her I need my results for a test I've done almost 2 weeks ago keep in mind that the results has been there for a while and I phoned them for it and they would've phoned me back but never did, she told me ok I'll have a look quickly, and believe it or not she has another conversation with someone both conversations not medical related, after 5 minutes again I decided to put down the phone.
A very unhelpful and quite rude receptionist. She could not provide information which she should be aware of and was abrupt with no concern shown at all. Might be an awesome doctor but will never know as will not try get an appointment there again! Great pity! Front of house is the brand of your company and most important in a doctors rooms where patients are worried and ill.
My wife and I made an appointment with Dr Liepoldt a month ago for our 20 week pregnancy scan and when we arrived at the his premises it was closed with no sign of anyone there!! No sign or notice anywhere to be found advising why they were closed either... just closed!! No one from the doctors rooms even has the decency to phone us to advise, we only find out when we arrive for our appointment... so unprofessional!!! All the excitement leading up to the scan to see our baby ruined...
Blood was taken without any explanation except for saying it is for down syndrome. Now when requesting the blood results as we won't be returning because we do not have a medical aid what I am being told is that they wasted R1000 of my money on blood results that they cannot even tell me the results of if I do not pay R1600 for the 12 week scan. Quite shocking as no information was given to me other than it's a test for down syndrome and I was told to call and cancel the next appointment if I decide to go through the clinic or someone else . Now after phoning to do exactly that I was told I can that I wasted R1000 because I don't have R1600 for a scan at their office and absolutely no one else can do this exact scan .
The receptionist is very rude. Couldn't even get a word in to explain my situation before I was told to not waste the Drs time. I have only heard good things about the actual Dr but the lady that answers the phone needs a few courses in customer services and good manners.
Extremely rude and unprofessional receptionist..... One would want your experience at this point to be bliss but she just dampen our spirits and when you try to get your point across she is the one with an attitude..... Yes we all live in uncertain times but tell ppl what is expected from them when taking the appointment.. Remember u still running a business and as paying patient i would like to be treated with the same courtesy as any other individual and not see some prejudice or favorable measures to a select few..... I will not recommend this establishment rather go to government as ur chances and experience will be the same!!!!!
Amazing doctor! He's helped with both my pregnancies. He very thorough and explains in detail when doing the ultrasounds.
