A lovely shopping experience awaits you with a wide variety of choice, the Coffee shop and Bakery are heavenly,the staff are always friendly and helpful which makes your shopping experience nice, their is lot's of parking on site and friendly car guard's aswell, don't forget the weekly specials and also the pensioners discount which are both an added attraction to visit this store.Remember that it's Pensioners Day on Wednesday at the Bean Tree which is very enjoyable and not to be don't miss out on this special as it's worth the trip.They also have a medium sized menu which is reasonably priced and is good value aswell as a lovely Sunday lunch special.

Wow what a gorgeous Spar, I was blown away! The lunch I bought was tasty and the baked treat range was incredible, the cannoli I bought was delicious. Staff were also very friendly. Best Spar I've visited.

I do not recommend Eastmans Spar to anyone. There is always flies in the section where they keep their hot foods/ready to eat meals. I emailed my concerns to them, the director of the store replied to my email and he was quite uninterested and dismissive of my concerns, he simply replied to tell me about whatever hygiene measures are currently in place, however the point of my email was to highlight that whatever quality control measures that are currently in place is simply not enough, otherwise there would be no flies in the store in the first place. If you value your health and safety, stay away from Eastmans Spar. There are plenty other Spars in Durban which are much more clean and better managed.

Great one stop grocery destination. Quality store space, layout and fittings. Food offering and variety is sufficient within deli, baked goods and perishables. Most frozen and non perishables are stocked. Deli could have some more salads and variety as most dishes are on the heavy side. Staff are excellent and overall shop is an asset to the community.

Simply the benchmark Spar. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner options. The bakery always has something fresh. Donut Thursday, wow.

Very friendly service. Cakes are worth the travel to umshlanga , Delishious. Neat as safe place to shop. Lovely experience. One thing that can be updated is the posishioning of pricing under the sweet section . Attention should be given to ill setters sweets strip being places under the correct price tag. Eg spotted eggs label and jelly beans had there labels swiched making quick glans for price difficult. Its inconvenient for visually impaired people when products are not labeled correctly. Lovely place to shop.

Excellent choice of goods, its a real bonus that they stock Korean Spicy Noodles, they have an excellent Cafe and bakery, with some of the most mouth watering brownies one has come across! Amazing service, helpful staff and really good prices! Only downside would be the size of the parking, but thats miniscule in comparison to the benefits of visiting Eastman Spar!

I had a burger bar function I am a caterer and ordered 70 burger buns today. First of all your staff was confused to me being there to pick up , secondly on pick up at 10am, they were ALL packed into ONE box while still steaming HOT and tied up with plastic, WITH NO STEAM HOLES, literally the plastic was nearly able to see through. I opened them immediately back at work. Only to find this error in packaging them hot and all on top of each other resulted in about 30 buns at the bottom being pancakes and NOT hamburger buns. I was embarrassed to say the least with my clients and made sure to tell them of the error being in your staffs side. On top of that I went to another store to buy more. will not be ordering for work again, and can assure my clients won't be either
