I wanted to do an application for a German passport and I made an appointment and took with all my documentation needed, did everything by the book, the cashier or help desk was very nice then when I took longer than 2 minutes to write down what I still needed her boss or whatever she was an old white lady said come back you are taking up time, but I had an appointment slot, she then proceeded to tell me to read through the website thoroughly which is absolutely trash as well. Hate this place hate that old mean lady and the service is TERRIBLE!!
Absolutely useless. No communication, declined my Visa, had to pay again, 2 days before my flight and still nothing. No urgency, no communication. Money making scheme. No contact details. All I got is that it can take 3 months to lodge a complaint. About to loose flight ticket money's, rental vehicle and accomodation money. They don't care, cause they've made their money......blood money that I've worked hard for. Thank you Germany. Will not put my foot there ever again.
On 7th June went to submit an application for citizenship and the lady that assisted was so racist and rude. She barely looked at the application,just picked up the birth certificate and accused me of carrying a fake birth certificate and when I told her that’s what you get from Eswatini,she raised her voice said this a cardboard and that my German father was not my father legally and I was willing to return to Eswatini to perhaps get the court to backup the birth certificate than she changed her story and said my father should have acknowledged paternity. I had gone to apply citizenship by declaration because he hadn’t registered me to Germany.BUT NOT TO GET INSULTED
We had only good experiences with the embassy. The contact over mail was always super fast and very friendly and patiently explained everything to all our questions. At our appointment it went all smooth aswell. Very nice staff and we were done even faster than what we thought. Definitely made our bureaucracy jungle a bit easier! Hopefully it will go just as fast and smooth when we get to apply for the visa in a couple of weeks.

Great experience. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They know how to resolve issues and can direct you to the right location if not able to help. I had a very efficient and effective interaction.
From the lady I spoke with over the phone to the gent that sorted me at the embassy this morning, thank you so much. Quick and efficient. Fantastic service!!
Waited past 15 days still no response, missed my flight due to them taking their time. Completely unable to get any response on the matter. Send multiple emails and got a standard default response email.
Super efficient but terribly rude, abrupt and unhelpful. They might do well to understand the stresses involved in applying for a visa. That said, stick to the letter of their rule and everything goes as per what they stipulate in writing.
