Golden Valley Casino, Worcester

Loved staying at this hotel for many many years. However this weekend was such a disappointment the hotel room was not up too standard the bed look like someone just slept in it the presentation was very poor. We struggled to get hold of room service and the vending machine was out of order and couldn't get beverages or snacks after hours. A suggestion for the Casino regarding the closing time maybe they could have extended hours for the people staying in the hotel or make the casino 24hours. On a positive note the food was very nice. Thanks

Always amazing to visit Golden Valley Lodge and Casino. Delicious food at Kuipers Restaurant. Enjoyed a VIP picnic as well. Thank you to all the staff for friendly and excellent service

Service very bad at the sports bar. Wanted to watch Stormers play on the big screen but was told Soccer was more important RSA was not even playing . Management had no interest in assisting me at all .Rooms: 3/5

Casino is below par. Old machines, buttons don't work properly you have to pump machines to get a quarter of your .oney back. Service at restuarant was poor 40 mins to wait for a meal is poor. We even offered to assist in kitchen. Food saved this issue.

Small casino could only get breakfast in the sports bar The staff behind the bar amazing BUT the staff sitting behind us at the betting area well they were talking so loud that we could hardly hear the comments from the two rugby captains as we had watched the NZL/ARGENTINA GAME pity that staff can't talk at a normal level I'm out watching a game having breakfast I'm not interested in hearing your conversation staff seem to forget there are many SA citizens that understand many languages It spoiled our visit

Repeated shocking service. Whenever I drive up from Cape Town I know to expect bad service in the sports bar. Staff in the entire casino speaks to you as if you are a friend and not in a friendly manner but a disrespectful one. I suggest more staff gets hired and training given to existing staff.Service: 1/5

Whenever we stay over, we either have to battle with tv channels that doesn't work, a leaking shower or a bathroom door that doesn't lock properly. WRT the casino, every single time we visit it, the machines are occupied by cards only and no players in sight. Is this a new thing at the casino where the player leave his or her card in the machine and walks away? We end up drifting throughout the floor looking for a vacant machine but instead these players "book" the machines so that no one else can use it. The casino is losing out on money. Take note people! Your regulars are blocking your income. Rather block all their cards instead!

Went to the Spa for a treatment, very efficient staff and the therapist is very well trained. All neat and clean.

Most fun times were had with family and friends

Very bad experience at the casino on Saturday the 25th of June. I was walking in smoking section, just checking out the machines and not really looking or concentrating on any people. I was vaping and accidently blew my smoke in an old mans face, not even knowing that i did it because as i said i was not concentrating on the people. The following moment i was hit in the middle of back so hard my whole body went forward. I had a huge fright and my first thought is that maybe it is someone i knew but as i turned around this old man was in my face screaming, because i by accident blew my smoke in his face. Not giving me a chance to speak or apologize. I went to security and they checked the footage, confirming my whole story of what happened. This is where i was very disappointed. They only wanted to give him a warning, what good does that do. The lady, manager of security, was going to speak to her manager and get back to me, but that never happened. It is totally unacceptable for a man to hit a woman, and this is exactly what happened here and nothing happened to him. I will never visit again as i was so upset by the whole thing.....
