Drove through to Grand Prix Models to investigate getting back into some RC cars. To say I was awestruck by the shop is an understatement. It's huge, the selection of stock is unbelievable and I had no idea where to even start. Luckily I was directed to the very knowledgeable owner who walked me through a number of options from Vintage re-released Tamiya cars to high end competition racers and everything in-between. If you go to look, you may be stuck there for hours like kid in a candy store. I would really recommend you visit this store
Oh my! not sure who will get more excited...kids or adults. The vast selection of toys is overwhelming...also a collectors dream shop. Drones, remote controlled cars etc.
Super helpful staff, and a great experience they had everything i asked for and more, the only thing i did not see was balsa wood planes but i also did not ask them so i might have just missed it. The shop is large though and they sell spares as well as repair your hobbies. Prices is decent.
Massive variety of anything that moves or flies as well as parts, great advice and service. Lego section to die for. Great variety of model vehicles of different sizes
Hit brick wall after brick wall. Try order something, and you always recieve the exact same excuse "Customs is holding our things back". Been waiting for 1 hot wheels car since November 2022, and waste my time going back after getting told every single time that he is getting stock next week. A damn good way to waste your time and petrol when 90% of the time the person in charge is never there, and saff don't know what to say.

I loved the shop it is totally amazing. If I had the money I would have bought a whole lot of the cars for children to drive in. I would go and give it to anyone I saw that had a small child. The drones lol I could have such fun with. Sorry. I could carry on and on. Love love love this shop. Do yourself a favour take a walk thru this shop. It is awesome and the staff are very helpful. Worst after care service EVER!!!!!! Been battling MONTHS now to get missing parts of a set we bought from them. First the wrong manual was in there, they rectified it. Then as my son progressed with building the item, some parts appeared to be missing. We immediatelly advised them, upon which we were promised the parts. Few weeks later we were told it was in Customs, and that is the story ever since for the past 4 months now. This week when I got agitated and rude out of frustration, I was told that WE threw the parts away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FTW
Wow. All of a sudden you feel years younger. They have a wide variety if toy and model cars. Enjoy.
Bought an x-03 rc car from them. Not even a month later the car started cutting out. I phoned them and I was told that I could return the car and they would see if anything was wrong with it. If they found anything wrong I would have to pay for any repairs and labour. Very disappointed with this reply and I will definately not support them again.
