The music they play in-store is terrible. We didn't stick around to browse for anything other than the product we went there for They are located near entrance 3.
Very disappointed by this business. Went through the process of applying for a new product online, only to be told I need to go in store to incredible connection after waiting for nearly half an hour to be assisted, I was told I actually need to be in hifi corp, where I also waited around the same amount of time to get the assistance I needed. It turned out that I needed to go through the entire application process again. When this process was finally complete, I was told they do not have any stock on the product I am looking for, at all. I then asked them if they can either procure one, or offer me a similar product and was promised they will call me back. This never happened. When following up, they again promised me that they will call me. I needed to follow up a second time and was told I need to come in store to go through the whole process again. This business does not seem to want to sell the product they advertise to me, let alone offer me something similar. Can't believe I wasted my time and money trying to support this business.
Reaction to your respond: You did not answer my question and do not understand my concern? Seriously? Hate going to Lakeside - are there other branches in Centurion? if not, where in the huge centre are you situated? just want in and out, dont have time to look for store.
Bad service. Stood at the customer service desk for 10 min only to be told to wait at the application desk. There was only one staff member busy with a client so we stood there waiting over a hour just to be told we need two payslips and not as per sms only one. While we stood there for more then a hour no one even tried to assist us. All the staff was hanging around playing on their phones. The manager walked past us several times without noticing that we have been waiting so long. Bad service. If the sms says recent payslip. Thats what you take with. The lady didnt want to hear anything of this as she didnt even want to try and assist as she wanted 2 payslips. We are not a new client to hi fi corb as we have purchased from them before and really dont appreciate the way we were being treated. We had a sms refrence number for the application and all the documents required and ended up leaving the store unassisted. Keep this us and this company will have no returning clients again.
Don't buy anything here, go to game takealot or any other outlets, we'll if you do I hope you take in the bad service you will get , from them not answering calls, to 0 after sales support. I bought an item requested them to collect it under warranty they didn't and asked me to bring it in. It seems in the process of transporting it, I might have made things worse and now I can't make a warranty claim because they refused to collect it.
Three stars for the smiling and helpful staff that helped me through my ordeal of starting a laybye contract for a TV. Also, for the good deals the store periodically has. I would say the staff is doing great albeit under difficult circumstances. Personally, I found the whole process of beginning a laybye surprisingly complex and time consuming...much more difficult than my previous experiences with different providers large and small, all of which don't rely on networked databases of stock. For starters, i spent several minutes sitting at the counter while the attendant struggled to login. When she finally did, she'd to re-enter my information twice until it was saved, only for the LG TV very much in stock in-store to be reflected as out of stock on the system. In the end, I was given a Samsung TV on the contract, with an option to swap for the correct TV upon last payment hopefully that happens. I also think its quite ridiculous that in the 2021 a store such as HIFI Corp can't receive laybye payments via EFT or something....surely I have to drive every month to this store to make my payment .
Special mention to Refilwe, who displayed excellent customer service at this store. Really helpful staff, and a pleasant experience buying from this store.
Still a 1 star experience. The "customer support" is appalling. Nobody contacted me after the previous rating.
This shop lacks when it comes to costumer service as I've been waiting for laptop I purchased cash from last week even now I haven't received it and they only called me once concerning the information of the laptop I bought n since that they didn't even bother themselves to contact me and tell me what's going on
HiFi corp is always the worst experience, especially with customer care. Wait times are extremely long and only one cashier.
