The staff are just okay, overall the lodge is fairly okay. Breakfast was fair, they choose to give you what they have, there wasn't much choice. The rooms are not very big, and the cleaning service was terrible, they show up very late to clean and towels weren't replaced everyday, there was so much heat, the room fans couldn't contain the heat. Air conditioning is needed in all rooms. The shower head was really bad the bathroom light fitted was meant for outdoor security lights. No microwave in the rooms very bad. No 24hr help desk, security is terribly, the guard guy tries but isn't enough for lodge. Proper security is needed. Once you in, you are on your own. Overall it's a fair little spot for one to two days if one is really desperate for a place.
5 stars for a 3 star rated venue. Thank you for a friendly reception, a clean bed and bathroom, a warm shower a mountain view and a lovely breakfast. I had a enjoyable stay.Rooms: 5/5

Great staff at the Ikhaya Lodge our home away from home in Cape Town. Visited here many times. Always received a warm welcome here.Rooms: 4/5
The staff are all very friendly! The lodge was nice. Breakfast was average there wasn't much choice. The rooms are not very big. And the cleaning service wasn't very good as the towels weren't replaced everyday and I had to go and ask for loo paper. The shower head was really bad. And if you are taking a car parking is a problem. But it's a nice little spot for a few days stay and it's quite clean.
The place was so beautiful and the breakfast was awesome. The staff was friendly and they made us feel at home. What I think they have to change is the type of music Gospel they play during breakfast, even though most people are Christians that doesn't mean everyone enjoy listening to gospel music, contemporary jazz or operatic would be perfect.
Absolutely loved my stay here, a team who does everything with love, care and loads of smiles. They all for developing their staff and ensuring their guests come first! Love this place! Great food too! The views from my room is gorgeous! Table Mountain in plain sight!
Ikhaya lodge was exactly what we wanted;close to all the attractions, exceptional service and delicious daily breakfasts. The apartment family room was able to accommodate our family2 grandparents, 2 adults and 2 kids and we were also able to make small meals for the kids,which made it very convenient. The staff was amazing, easy to talk to and made our stay very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again when I return to Cape Town.
My stay at IKaya Lodge is very pleasant, quiet and peaceful. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are neat and tidy. Good food and wine. I would definitely go back there on my next visit.
Simply beautiful with friendly supportive staff. I had a wonderful time there. Very peaceful. The restaurants across from the lodge serve delicious food and drinks as well. Very conveniently situated.
