We enjoyed our stay at Liberty Lodge very much and can warmly recommend to stay there. The location is in a great and safe neighbourhood with fantastic restaurants and bars. The lodge ist super cosy and the room has been spacious, clean and had a fantastic view of Table Mountain. The hosts both have been super lovely and made us feel very welcome. We also enjoyed the home made breakfast.

An incredible experience in the midst of City Life! The view of Table Mountain behind us, Signal Hill and Lions Head beside us, Harbour ahead of us. Driving around the  Kloof neck to the most incredible  views! What an experience! Back home at night to very clean space with King size bed and all amenities needed for our stay!Rooms: 5/5

No secure parking. Breakfast is not good at all. Soft eggs turned out to be Frisbees. Toast was warm bread and nearly forgotten.  Conveys a historic atmosphere though.Rooms: 3/5

The Location is perfect, everything is super clean and tidy and we felt very comfortable. But the best about this place is really the staff! Lisa and Thandi are the loveliest hosts and made our stay fantastic! But as we understand that the owner just changed, we really hope that they will keep the staff to keep Liberty Lodge as great as it is.

I booked for one night and the hotel took an additional payment. I then called to inform them of their mistake, and they responded saying i booked two nights and it is on "their records". I have the booking proof that i only booked one night and they are still not willing to refund me.

Such a great place to stay. So friendly, clean and homely. Great location too. Highly recommend.

It's cosy, family Atmosphäre and the Land Lady takes very good care of her guests. Nixe rooms, clean and bright. Nice roof terrasse with a beautiful view over the city.

My wife and I stayed for a weekend away from Durban.  It was a fantastic guest house and the host was very friendly.

Great people and food is delicious here
