The coach liner 715 has good drivers. One feels comfortable travelling in it as their driving skills seem to be of special training. They also are hospitable.
The bus itself is very comfortable, and we had a good ride on this day. I also like the fact that there's a USB charging port for each seat. The problem is at check in offices. Their system is very confusing. You get there you just see lines. You don't know which line to join and there's no staff member on the floor assisting customers.
Very nice bus, comfortable and affordable. It has nice inside lights night lights and awesome design. I give this 4 stars because its the best "after" Greyhound.
4 hr delay twice and only noticfed that delay would be 2hrs. Upon arrival driver was rude and seemed to think requesting a tag on luggage was a joke. The buses them selfs were some what ok. Decently priced tickets.
I was very underwhelmed with this experience. The bus had to stop at almost every petrol station to top up the water level and a 7 hour journey from Welkom to Durban became a 10 hour trip. I lost a whole day resting thanks to this poor performance that I Pais an arm and a leg for.
Arrived in Midrand 2 hours late, my lift left and had to return two hours later. No announcement or warning, no updates of arrival times. Driver was good but unsure especially entering traffic. Seats comfortable but a tall person's knees are cramped if seat in front reclines fully. As a pensioner who had a hip replacement I was directed to climb the steep stairs to the upper deck. While booking online I could not select a seat like window, lower or upper deck. Lastly, your booking site states 30 mins arrival prior to departure - please stick to it. If a person arrives late, they are late! Airlines don't wait for passengers unless there is an emergency. Time is important & money. If passangers can't be considerate to fellow passengers, they must be left at departure point, as all the others make sure they are on time. I had to arise at 06h00 and travel to make sure I was on time in Pietermaritzburg on 10 Nov 2022.
The experience was not so good the coach I used was was full of cockroaches I couldn't sleep. From Durban to Johannesburg
This was the worse experience, we booked a 06:30am bus from Pretoria reaching Durban at 16:30pm, the bus only ended up leaving Park Station at 09:00 am with absolutely no explanation as to why, the bus that we will in stopped 3 times and eventually giving up completely in Heldelberg. We were then told that the aircons are not functioning and we had to wait for 3 hours for a replacement bus instead a maintenance team arrived and we were told that the bus was fine only for the bus to break down once more a few kilometers away. We then had to wait for a replacement which arrived 30 minutes later. That bus as well was also not up to standard because after a while the entire dash board went blank leaving the driver to drive in fog unable to see the speedometer and the indicator we eventually reached Pietermaritzburg at 20:00pm where the second bus also gave up and we were left stranded and told that another bus was going to arrive after all of the frustration at 21:00pm my sister, her baby and myself decided to take a uber home we ended up spending 15 hours for a trip that was supposed to take approximately 8 hours in my understanding I believe that the brakes were broken and that these buses are not maintained which is a serious safety risk for every passenger that uses this bus
We booked a bus 2 months ahead only to arrive and be picked up by a random gold bus that does not even have the same features as the intercape bus. It smelled like pee the entire trip.
It was great except that charging station was not working bus number 908 that I was travelling will ,we ask each other and we had same problem
