Facility was very clean and well looked after. staff was well trained and friendly. Would definitely recommend the venue. Enjoyed the rowing ‍ in the pond/dam. There is also enough activities to keep the whole family busy from young to old. Was also nice that the benches already had cover for the sun, so was not necessary to take put own gazebo
Very nice park like lawns, big beautiful trees. Loved our camping weekend. Clean and neat ablutions. Only complaint we raise is that this park states no music in its rules but does not enforce this policy.
Fantastic camping spot close to Brits and close to the city. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Very family friendly with lots to do and lots of trees for shade and beautiful grass cover all over the premises. Great for riding bicycles, quite a few slides for yound and old. Cold and hot water pools. Trampolines, tennis courts, beautiful gardens, dams for canoeing and fishing and a lot more. The best camping spot in that area. Very neat and tidy and prestinely maintained. Always a favourite spot.
Super! This place is really well maintained and neat! Lots of fun activities for everyone. We really enjoyed the day here!
We as family and friends went there for a week and its so relaxing, also lots to do.. unfortunately the hot swimming pool is not so warm and also the rules to not walk around after 10 is not allowed i dit not like very much, was feeling a bit restricted..

This palce is somehow a bit of a gem. Nesstled not to far from Jhb and Pta, the whole family can have a great day out having fun and relaxing. There is plenty to do for the kids, and although day visitor prices are a bit high for a family of 5, there is enough to keep everyone happy. Enough braai facilities and swimming space for everyone. It might be busy at times also so plan accordingly. But overall this is a great place to take the family for a day of braai, swim and relax. Also clean and neat
We drove for an hour through really bad roads with potholes. We arrived around 10am only to be told that it’s full. The guys at the gate were unhelpful and had no empathy for us. I pleaded with them to allow us in. They suggested we try out other “nearby” resorts. I noticed that the cars that where parked off with us were mainly Black, Coloured or Indian. I noticed that when a car with a White family tried enter while in presence of these parked off cars they seemed to be telling them to wait on the side or to quickly drive back and come back when the “others” eventually leave. This place seems to be racist towards non-whites but I can’t say for sure. There are other google comments/reviews that seem to confirm this. Wont try to visit again.
I was astounded by the sheer racism of the owners or managers for refusing to let us in. The second time I went I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and called ahead to make a booking. I was told there were no bookings. The next day a friend of mine belonging to a different ethnic group called on my behalf to make a booking and was offered a selection of accomodation options. This confirmed my suspicions and I refuse to support any businesses who are under the impression that apartheid is not over.
Amazing place, neat and clean, well looked after. Great slides and swimming pools.
