Kromdraai Camp

This camp is situated in one of the most pristine areas inside Shongimvello Game Reserve. Unfortunately most of the wooden cabins need some serious maintenance work. Its a nice camp for groups of people. Rooms: The rooms are nice and clean. Nearby activities: There's a beautifull swimming pool to cool off during the hot summer days. Safety: Very safe Food & drinks: Its all selfcatering. Bring along own food and drinks. Noteworthy details: This camp can only be reached by gravel road. Make sure your vehicle has got enough fuel because there's no fuel station close by.

Good place for a getaway. Limited network available. Place to chill and have fun without no distance. You can book at songimvelo nature reserve for hiking trail or game drive unfortunately at the time I was there there were no cars available for your so you probably bring your 4*4 or SUV to be on the safe side. The is pool area good for relaxation and having fun while braai some meat. Nice views of the mountains

A fairly new campsite on the Komati River bank, formerly used as a day visitor venue. Wild and untamed, frequent visits by bushbuck, Duiker and other small game. Lots of birdlife and special night visits by red jackal and bush babies makes it a unique experience. Shower/bathing facilities and electricity at camping spots not yet in place but the toilets and conference facilities provides sufficient lighting. Showers a 200m walk away. The on sight manager Robert is always so friendly and informative. Just make sure to take ant repellent for around the tents and braai facilities optional
